I've reviewed the comments to this article and there is one clear conclusion: Republicans will sit and listen to the elderly (sorry Mr. Eastwood, just a statement of fact) regardless of their elderly condition while Democrats want the elderly to go away, attacking him as old, nursing home ready, cenile, lost, etc. Maybe this explains why the Democrats want Obamacare w/ panels to deny treatment to the elderly.

what is cenile? BTW you might want to review your medical insurance, I think you will find that there are panels that will deny you treatment and that has nothing to do with the ACA. BTW, those weren't attacks, just statements of fact (sorry Mr Eastwood)

in a final role, Clint Eastwood was talented, however unconvincing, his raillery were of bad taste.

Eastwood personified the Tea portion of the GOP...

An angry old white man yelling at an imaginary Obama in an empty chair.

It was embarrassing....I feel for him.

What even sadder is the GOP, now finished with Clint, have distanced themselves from his eerie performance saying he "went off-script"

It's shameful.

The joke is on Romney. Mr. Eastwood was speaking for America. The empty chair represents all politicians. You must listen closely to the variety of references. They are not doing the job ... dismiss 'em all ...

Clint Eastwood is simply another wealthy Republican who doesn't want to pay his fair share of taxes. He's happy to increase taxes on the Middle Class and the Poor.

It would seem Mr. .44 Magnum (the most "powful" handgun in the world) is packing a .22 short for gray matter. Hopefully all that hemming and hawing was an actor's affectation, and not him actually trying to capture and express a thought.
