After so many shootings when is our President and the Mitt Romney going to be men and take a stand on control. When are these tow going to tell us where they stand on putting more controls on Guns in this country. Taking "no stand" and simple feeling sorry for the victims of shootings is not enough any longer.

How about we take a stand on abortion , the way our country is being run ,Start making somethang not meant for war , or treat our vets better when they come home , raise our kids better ect. ect. I think we will need our guns to do it though.

They all say the same thing ... "we'll review what happened, so appropriate action can be taken so that it never happens again" ... BUT, my American friends, it is going to happen over, and over, and over again. Nothing will change ... the fear in your country is palpable and your media whips up this frenzy of fear and the need for guns as protection ... one hell of a way to live.

Fear has nothing to do with my ability and the tools I use to exercise my freedom of self-preservation and the protection of my person, family, and property.

I sleep like a baby.

I see no hate from republicans and the gun did not come from anybody at the NRA. No responsible gun owner would ever do such a thing. When will people like you realize that only irresponsible idiots would commit such an atrocity and the person that did it is mentally ill. Sound's to me like you have enough hate for all of us.

"No responsible gun owner would ever do such a thing." the problem is you don't have to be responsible to go buy all the gun you need to kill seven people in this case. The NRA plan will continue to bring gun violence in this way. When there is a gun incident they will say their should have been someone there with a gun. Nut jobs will go out and buy guns these guns will sooner or later kill someone, then the NRA will say go buy more guns. Bottom line is they will not be happy until every criminal in this country has a gun and it's all about them making money.

All new firearm purchasers must pass an FBI background check before taking possession of a firearm. The NRA has nothing to do with that.

NRA also has absolutely nothing to do with gun violence. Everytime one of these incidents occur from a mentally-ill criminal, it reminds me of the thousands of articles that do not get widespead acknowledgement when a tool (gun, knife, shovel, etc.) was used to stop an encounter before blood was spilled. The Armed Citizen is a good source that publishes a few.
