July jobs report

It's seem as though it's the same old story isn't it? While of course the number of jobs went up in July, the unemployment number also saw an uptick. So for every two steps we take, we take just one back, it doesn't seem like much progress to me. Why hasn't the US decided to change some of its job creation methods rather than relying solely on government spending? To date, this hasn't worked as a reliable consistent method of job creation (http://******/NXer4g), doesn't something appear askew here? If we're ever going to have an economic recovery, we need to examine some other routes of job creation.

Earth to numbnuts Republicons, this is GOOD news for America and Obama. Oh that's exactly why they are saying it is not. Think backwards. Think opposite.

Yes, creation of 170,000 jobs beating all forecasts and estimates. Stock market seemed to like it. Creating jobs, something beyond the capability of the Republicons.

Unfortunately for the Republicons, they are not fooling anyone (except maybe for some Republicons). They are responsible for the unemployment problem. They had Bushoccio for 8 years to completely devastate the economy. Then they have not done even one little thing to help create jobs. In fact it is just the opposite.

Dear GOP: When you held the reins, we were losing jobs at a rate of 700K per month. Now we gain them by 100K. Do you have trouble with basic math, or are you just on hard drugs?

I mean come on, Robmee and the Republicons STILL believe in the fake and failed trickle down, "free market" nonsense. And we are supposed to take them or anything they say seriously. Seriously?\

Plus the Republicons actually pledged to spend their time making Obama fail! It's on record!

Obama failed all by himself. He really didn't need help on the economy front. Now, if his resume was judged solely on how many more deadbeats his government sends a check to every month, he'd be all aces.

From that peak of jobs in January 2008, we lost 775,000 jobs in the first half of 2008. Between June 2008 and December of 2008, we lost another 2,869,000 jobs. That's a total of 3,644,000 jobs lost in all of 2008.

Because a tax hike on 2% of the population would do nothing to reduce our debt, save Social Security, Medicare, or local governments individually or collectively.

The idiot GOP already forgot their own disaster from 2000-2008? They want to inflict more pain on America and the world? What is wrong with them?

The GOP's attitude is this: We broke the economy, Obama can't fix it quickly ennough, so we want it back. The GOP is more concerened about their power than the well being of America. For that, they are traitors.

The saying was that the GOP ran the car into a ditch and now that we have pulled it out, they want the keys BACK....NO way!

It was the DEMS in control of the Senate and the House and they broke the economy not the GOP. That is the great lie of the liberals,.

You really don't want to open your eyes, do you? Who was the president? Come on you can do it. Yes, your right Bush and for 6 of the 8 years he was in office the republicans controlled the House and 4 of those years they also controlled the Senate. And how many times did he not ask for the increase to OUR debt? Come you can do this one also. That right NOT ONCE.

Democrats pulled us out? Democrats twisted the knife stuck in us under Republicans, added several more wounds, and now are sharpening more knives to inflict greater damage. No sir, Democrats should be run out of town like the incompetent thieves they are.

It is shame that, most republicans do not like the facts when they conflict with what they think.

The facts don't support Democrat claims. They can blaim whomever they wish, but the simple fact is that this economy is all theirs. $6 gas by November should rule the day.

We have been averaging 100,000 private sector jobs per month for the last two years. That is MUCH better than losing 700,000 jobs per month during Bush's final months.

These job reports are 100% accurate, and we should all be thankful that Obama has helped so much in creating jobs. Oh wait, maybe these reports aren't 100% accurate and maybe the economy still sucks.

You'd be hard pressed to convince me it's any different now.

Shadow stats claim that if one used Clinton era accounting, unemployment figures would be closer to 22% (or something like that) and the deficits would be closer to $4T annually under Obama. Sounds to me like this administration and Solyndra use the same accountant.
