Obama "casts himself as the savior to the middle class" because he *IS the savior of the middle class. Republcans has spent the last 2 years blocking his policies and holding the middle class HOSTAGE to their demands for tax cut for the super rich... is that the kind of party we want looking out for the middle class?

@johnnyrottenapple777...Taxes the wealth is necessary at present time due to Govt. have to spend them (wealth tax) for growing economy. Keep in mind that taxes are the cash belonged to not only the wealth but all Americans. This is why Republican do not want to tax the wealth more and tried to block any policy fro Obama that creates more jobs. You can see that many infrastructure projects like new bridges or road will be suspended in GOP leaning states.
