I lived the Nixon Presidential years/campaign and I am going to have to agree with David (on this one)..

I've been saying since he was Governor, that he has this vibe, this 'ooze' about him and the people he surrounds himself with, that is very Nixonian to me.

I agree with you, including that odd "tick" in his speech (he goes "tsk" with his tongue at the beginning of his sentences that make proclamations that insinuate someone is stupidly ignoring what is obvious...watch/listen for it).

But never fear: All of this will come out after the conventions when Obama obliterates him in the debates.

Yes, maxwell. I well remember those times myself - I graduated from high school on the same day that the Watergate Hotel was broken into (June 17, 1972) but it wasn't until the summer of '73 that the Hearings started. Those were depressing times indeed. I totally agree that Mitt is creepy in the same way as old Tricky Dicky. And I'd love to know how much money he's been hiding, too. Remember Mitt made fortunes closing down factories and sending American jobs overseas. He needs to tell us exactly how much Blood Money he's made while people don't have jobs.
