How many dead people voted in the last election?

Dead people are easy to count. They never move. In reality, .00004% voter fraud has been proven and only 10 times that has been alleged.

Republicans are pros at winning elections. The only problem is, THEY DON'T HAVE THE SLIGHTEST IDEA OF HOW TO GOVERN.

radsenior says:
Voter ID laws are being put in place to restrict those who would vote Democratic and have limitations on access to state ID resulting from inability to go to offices to retrieve such or some other valid reason. States should develop a methodology to provide photo ID's for every legal voter in their state and no go about it as they have since Obama won the presidency. New voting restrictions, including eight — Alabama, Kansas, Mississippi, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Wisconsin — that passed variations of a rule requiring photo identification. Idaho and Oklahoma passed similar legislation in 2010, as did Utah in 2009. In 2008 New Mexico pass this legislation. Ohio and Georgia passed voter restrictions in 2006 while Missouri tightened their voter laws. In 2003, Voter ID laws passed in Alabama, Colorado, Montana, North Dakota and South Dakota where the Republican Party was in charge. Fourteen states dominated by the TEA-GOP-Republican Party have changed the rules for voters since President Obama was elected into office. The only ones who pay attention to that are the TEA-Republican of the states listed above. It is the confrontational TEA party segment and Libertarian sect of the TEA-Republican fringe who have spearheaded this bigotry and prejudice. Every valid citizen of America should have the right to vote. American's have lost numerous voting rights won during the 50's and 60's. The TEA-Republican's have made a concerted effort to purge, limit, block and dissuade voters in an effort to keep America as white as possible. All these efforts are aimed at people of color. Much started just after Obama won the right to defeat McCain. Partisan motivation at the least.

"Voter ID laws are being put in place to restrict those who would vote Democratic ..."

So, you're admitting that Democrats are heavily involved in voter fraud and that requiring a photo ID would severely cramp their style. You won't get any sympathy from those of us who believe in the rule of law and fair play.

No, your being deliberately obtuse. The only 'confirmed' case of voter fraud recently was the Indiana Republican SOS Charlie White!

Voting is a right given by the Constitution. In many states, you have to pay up to $100 to get a photo ID. This amounts to a poll tax which disproportionately affects minority and low-income voters. You shouldn't have to pay a fee to exercise your constitutional right to vote.

crpolk replies:

I don't believe in the current voter ID laws being implemented but I have no problem with picture ID to vote, just take everyone's picture when they register and provide each polling place with a laptop that can access the data base, when the person comes in and gives their name, enter it into the computer and viola, their picture pops up, showing they are who they say they are and then let them vote. Glitches could be fixed by using provisional ballots. If we started this in all 50 states we could get the country switched over within two or three presidential election cycles.

Democrats will never allow the practice requiring the person voting to prove they are the same person that is registered to vote. Blame the Republicans for what has always been a practice of the Democratic Party. Democrats, and some Republicans, do not want honest, fair, fraud free elections. Plain and simple.

Ok,lets say all this stands and lots of democrats don't get to vote but Obama beats Romney anyway, what then? What if enough independents decide the voter purges, the id laws. shortened early voting calendar and the rest of it are overreaching and the Republicans lose the House, can't gain the Senate and Romney loses. What will they do then?

"disenfranchise" is a load. Nothing keeps you from getting an ID, unless you are where you don't belong and/or aren't who you say your are. This is a lame arguement and getting expremely tiresome.

Money, availability of time to spend at a DMV office, transportation, availability of birth certificate (i.e. have to order it from the state requiring more money and time) - those all can keep you from getting a photo ID. If the state gave out free photo IDs to people, that would be one thing. However, people shouldn't have to pay a fee in order to exercise a constitutional right given to them.

But dingbat W won again barley as Ohio delivered the critical electoral college vote! Dumb Dems continue to play nice and get their ass handed to them! What the republicunt's plan for this yr is to suppress voter turn out by suppressing voter turn out(all the voter ID stuff goin on) then make this election to nasty it will TURN OFF voters, rev up their base, like the goofballs ya got postin here. Certainly you do not believe what you have written. You sound like the moonbats in Florida that designed bad ballots in South Florida counties, and then wanted a recount so they could "discern" voter intent. If Republicans had attempted a stunt like that, you moonbats would have wailed and cried foul. Why don't you just shut up and get your citizens a picture ID. It really is not that difficult. Unless you are an illegal alien, a convicted felon, someone not registered in the precinct in which you are trying to vote, or dead. Whine, whine, whine.

Being a resident of the Commonwealth, these people have 4 months to get a license. Stop complaining and go to PennDOT to get either a driver's license or an ID card. If they are irresponsible to not have a driver's license, then they probably don't have a job, a checking account, a house. They have no right telling me how high my taxes should be.
I wonder how many of these people receive some sort of help from the Pennsylvania government.

You can read more about it here: http://freeandequalpa.wordpress.com/summary-of-applewhite-petition/
