Yankee_Doodle says:
Romney was put into a position where he couldn't win with whatever position he took on immigration.

However, here is a thought. We have a President and an Attorney General who supported running 1,000's of illegal guns to Mexican Drug Cartel's who then used them against innocent Mexican Latino's in Mexico. Yet, this same President wants the Mexican Latino's to trust him and give him their vote.

One would think that the Mexican Latino's would be furious to think that their loyalty could be bought after the President's fiasco that led to the loss of life and misery of fellow Latino's in Mexico.

Actually the President and AG didn't support gun running to Mexico. It was started in '06 under Dubya's administration (no evidence Dubya knew about it)by the Phoenix ATF office. Holder stopped the operation dead when he learned of it. It would pay you Yankee to get more sources of information than just Faux News, Rush, and the guys in your bowling league.

Romney's father was also a politician, he wasn't as bad as Romney, but still not someone you want near your government. These rich people want to have all the power to control us, that's why they try to buy off a seat in government generation after generation.

The Etch A Sketch Restart is not working. The anti immigration flip flopper in chief has stuck. Willard is consistent, he is way out of touch, and common people don't like him.

Lets see, I'm an independent and the Democrates lost my vote with the immigration bull crap that Obama passed last week. Now the GOP is looking at a no vote from me because they are going to do nothing either. Seems the rights of those who live in this country legally are thrown out the window to those who are latinos, ***** and anyone else that can get these fools elected. Funny. They can't live without their vote but they can't live without the taxes the rest of us pay. Is there anyone out there that is willling to fight for Americans. Legal ones that is?

Funny how you think Latinos aren't American. No further comments for you; you're a disappointment to humanity, specially for supporting a sociopath (Romney) in the first place.

I am mystified, sir. Does one not tailor the speech to the audience? Otherwise, I'd assume that the notice would have to have gone out: "Indeterminate speech to be given this afternoon. Appropriate audience requested to be in attendance."

"Wrong group were in attendance", ctommyw? It was THEIR meeting; Romney was THEIR guest!

SORTING OUT WHAT ROMNEY SAID. feel free to improve/prioritize the list. which do you think is the single most important?

"will replace and supersede the president's temporary measure."

will prioritize efforts that strengthen legal immigration and make it more transparent and easier; will boost legal immigration. will make it easier for legal immigrants to bring their spouses and children to America

more non-citizens would be able to stay legally in the United States under Romney's plan because he would exempt from current numerical caps on green cards the spouses and minor children of green card holders.

will find a path to legal citizenship for any immigrant who serves in the U.S. military, and argued that visas ought to be automatic for science and technology students who come here to be educated

foreign students who get advanced degrees in America should be given green cards. "I'd staple a green card to the diploma of someone who gets an advanced degree in America,"

allow children who were brought here illegally by their parents to stay in the country under some circumstances?

expand temporary work visas for low-skilled workers.

a "high tech fence" for the border

national mandatory employment verification system

Funny how it takes a random commenter on the internet to make Romney look a tiny bit better. And all of this stuff is in your own words, his words were vague and full of confusion.
