The thugs will say anything and the thugs that follow them will listen. Ram-me is a financial thug his record is proof. Anyone who thinks this thug is going to help anyone other than himself and those like him is delusional. With corporate personhood and the unleashing of billions of tax deductible donations, there is little hope for our democracy now. The coup since Bushy jr. is complete. Now we have to fight back and it is going to be horrible. We reap what we have sown.
Gee....could the pot call the kettle any more black?
Obama did mis-speak, but what he meant to point out(that is accurate BTW) is that the private economy is growing.....just not fast enough to absorb the decimation of the public sector. The public sector on State and local levels has been cut drastically to manage debt and deficits, even though this is not what has happened on the Federal level.
AND the public AUSTERITY is a major factor limiting the overall economic growth.
Wisconsin and cities like San Diago are going broke because the public sector has demanded more and more wages and benefits. The public sector which includes teachers see themselves as unexpendable. All the money to support those jobs comes from private business and individuals. It is like taking a person with a weak heart and pumping them full of more blood hoping it will make them better. Our system is so out of balance. Pumping more money in for teachers only benefits no producers. If you want to see a change make business financing easier. Strengthen the heart.
Of course things are wonderful from Obama's perspective. While millions of Americans are suffering because of his policies, Obama plays endless rounds of golf in Wash DC.
He spent over $10 million taxpayer dollars last year ALONE on his luxurious vacations all around the world. And he spends every other waking hour doing fundraisers at the houses of his millionaire Hollywood buddies like George Clooney... do you think those people are "in touch" either?
It's time to throw Obama out of office and let him enjoy real retirement -- on his own dime!
Romney has no chance to win because people know he will do worst things to this country than his theoretical dad: W. Bush. Romney would likely do to the US what Bain Capital did to the working families, sell the country to the highest bidder and let the people fend for themselves. GOP is the pawn of the super rich, good at manipulating the media; once in power, they start socking it to people in a major way. Be weary, leery and never trust any politician, especially the GOP.
Romney is the Liar in Chief....member of a recognized Cult....Liar about his work record.....Liar about the President....he doesn't know what truth is and many of the American people won't acknowledge his lack of character....for one simple reason....he's white and we haven't overcome our hatred as a nation. For the South the Civil War never ended.
By "fine" I think the prez meant, on the right track. Leave it to Romney to grab at straws. The White House has been controlled by white males from the beginning, and the last thing they want is a black man doing a good job and being a role model for other minorities who aspire to such greatness. Shame on republicans, and some democrats, for sabotaging our economy and our beloved President. And shame on Romney and every other Mormon who turns a blind on on the hundreds of polygamous cults in their communities. Google Banking On Heaven for more info. Romney is nothing but a power seeking hypocrite who couldn't care less about American families.
Republicans had a chance last September to help, they did not like how the jobs bill would be funded and came up with NO solution for funding of their own. The blame rests squarely with the Republicans, they are holding America's unemployed hostage to gain power.
Uh, no. Banks and Big Companies seem to be doing fine. I don't get it. What's the criticism. They want more? They didn't kill the economy enough the first time around? This is a joke right? The Banks are sitting on a ton of capital and big companies are doing the same, except they have it parked outside the country. Obviously, it is beyond them to do something constructive. The big joke is that they do not want interference from the government. This would be like turning your back on a know axe murderer with an axe in his or her hands. What is even a bigger joke is that they are unable to do nothing but can't ask the government to do anything less they look like an idiot in their own world. But the street goes up every time there is the slightest possibility the Fed may use its power to stimulate the economy. These people are total hypocrites.

The romney should walk away from trying to hit Obama for his comment, as should every tepub obstructionist rep. As we gage our total economic growth on what wall street does, which means absolutely nothing to the masses especially those who actually do the labor with lower and still long stagnated wages and benefits, if you have an investment scheme they're using your money to make their money.
As the street isn't for economic investment growth, especially job creating, but to gauge execs so called success by bigger bottom lines and to enhance wealth of the wealthy, the mittens has been doin great in the private sector economic growth, wall street money changing, and he does absolutely nothing for the returns, and few of these 'job creators' especially at the top are creating jobs!!
Oh and so should the media who've been hyping the mittens attack, as the national anchors especially are reaping from the street, private not public economics!!
I really think Repugs are about the dumbest, shallow people in the world. Where you sleep during the time that GWB was POTUS? But I have to laugh at Romney talking about 'being out of touch'....I can't wait till Obama wipes the floor with him in the election so the repug idiots can sit around and stew for 4 more years.
