No doubt that any leaks that have occurred will be tracked back to republicans in congress. As soon as Obama was elected the gop members of congress vowed to do everything possible to make him a one term president. As is typical, the gop is guilty of the very things they allege. This will only be a big deal until it's proven that the gop is the source of the leaks.

We all know its some RepukliCON trying to hurt the President politically by releasing this secret information. I hope who ever the Senator or Congressperson it is leaking this stuff will end up in prison or dead.

Wow the marbles are rolling in this post! Still blaming George W. Bush for America's problems? When will this administration start taking responsibility for anything other than assassinating Osama bin Laden? It seems the lefties that want equality and tolerance for gays are the first ones to bash a person's religion. Apparently the First Amendment only applies to liberals when it's convenient. I'm sure there will be dissenters to this comment as well.

Hey talking about Osama Bin Laden that's a very good point. You do know that the Iraqi Dr. that who's heroic efforts helped the CIA locate Bin Laden - is now sitting in a Pakistani jail with a 33 year sentence because of security leaks such as these. So even that got fouled up. Our operations would be much more effective and frightening to the enemy if they keep thinking, "How in the h@ll are the American's constantly able to keep doing this?". The unknown holds a very powerful psychological effect over our enemies who's power should never be under estimated. Our tactics and modes of operation should never be revealed to the public - EVER. Unfortunately both administrations the last 11 years are guilty of this and needs to stop. Until this mystery was solved with the Dr activities, Al Queda would have ended up tearing itself apart and thinning its own ranks looking for informants. Just one more example of many.

I also thought that shock and awe also the embedded reporters going into Iraq was also a huge mistake for this very same reason.. Would've been much more effective had our opponents around the world start thinking "how in the hell did the American's conquer the Iraqi army so fast".. The mystery itself holds great power.

You protesteth too much Barry ! Whats offensive is your entire administration! When are you going to get to the bottom of guns walking into Mexico that came back to kill a US Border Patrol agent ? That might not be politically expedient Barry if Holder knew about the operation and authorized it as well. Botched health care, fubared the BP spill, $ for Solyndra Cronies, more flexibilty for the Russians, a stalled economy, and now treason for political gain !

waaaaa waaaaa! lets investiage solyndra and the fast & furious operation (which started under Bush) but lets ignore the fact that we were lied into war and 6,000 americans and 100,000 Iraqis died for it!

your hyper partisan cry babying is pathetic.

POST-AWAY, one need not live in a trailer park to have at least some suspicion of leaks that seem calculated to divert attention from other issues, and strengthen the idea that Obama is strong in the foreign policy arena.

rightofwrong replies:

@POST-AWAY Oh no! The US was monitoring bin Laden's sat phone? bin Laden did not know that information? He did not see the coverage of CNN in the region about the US looking for him? Gasp! What a breech of security that Bush said his people were listening. What an absurd comment from a left-wing talking point regurgitation dipstick.

And people say the president doesn't have a sense of humor! If anyone believes that the president and his inner circle weren't directly responsible for the leaks then they are truly delusional

Common sense dictates that the leaks are coming from the gop. The gop stated that it was their number one priority to do everything possible to make Obama a one term president. I hope the gop supporters remember their claims of treason when it is determined that republican members of congress are the source of the leaks.

Common sense really? Are you that disconnected from reality? Actually common sense dictates that its the presidents people doing this to make the president look tough and decisive.
