The Republican controlled House has sent over a dozen bills to the Democratic controlled Senate which would help create jobs. The liberals in the Senate are sitting on the bills. Not to mention that the liberals have not produced a budget in over 3 years. Obama is a disaster.
Not bills to create jobs, they would only benefit those who already have the money, stop abortions(for one reason or another),increase the debt or be a back door to get around the debt deal they made last year. The house is the only branch of goverment that can wright a budget, and the one they keep sending over keeps getting amended and sent back. Can't help it if the repugs wanted to just do extension, like the ones since they took control of the house. You might want to look up the rules for the senate, the Dems have a majority, but not the 60 to have control.
The liberals still do not get it after failed stimulus packages. They still think they can spend their way out of this. Not going to happen what needs to be cut is more useless government positions. Taxes need to be lowered on corporations and businesses in general. Until they are willing to concede this. Then the Republicans need to keep the status quo until Obama is voted out.
Actually looking back at history that is exactly what needs to happen. The cuts to gov. could start with the congress. If lowering the taxes on corporations and those making over $1000,000.00 a year were the answer then my question is, were are the jobs? The tax rate on cooperation for federal taxes are were they have been for the past 12 years. Just a reminder.
The left simply will never comprehend the fact that you cannot create prosperity by spending government dollars. They will never understand that the *only* path to prosperity requires shrinking the size of the life-killing, job-killing, economy-stifling government. Time for the GOP to earn their pay and do something to create jobs and not their tax cuts, tax cuts and more tax cuts that is all they support. They were sent to Congress in 2010 on job creation and they have done nothing but come up with policies against regulations that they call jobs, and policies they come up with that are for tax cuts that they call jobs. This is ridiculous posturing for the wealthy and their wish list. Republicans are still not free from their corporate masters calling the shots. We need regulations to protect our air, water and the environment. We need the wealthy to pay more taxes because they make millions and billions and they have done well during this recession that has been damaging to the middle class and working poor. The oil corporations do not need billions in subsidies when they are making 500 billion a year like Exxon is. The GOP will not cut off these oil corporations and that is sickening with their are people who are suffering and the GOP has no money to help them.
I have not heard yet how much Obama wants to raise the Debt Ceiling this time, but I can imagine that he want's $ 2.5 TRILLION DOLLARS, You do know Smoke and Mirrors cost a lot these days, and he has to have enough to last 6 months. Whats 2.5 Trillion when we already have 15.7++ trillion in Debt, that only add 16 % more debt to what we have. Has Obama even considered cutting the fat out of the Federal Government. Cut the RED TAPE job that slow and even stop business from expanding, These RED TAPE jobs are ALL RED INK on the books.
Republicans are hypocrites and they show it with their behavior about raising the debt ceiling. This will harm our rating again and they will show again that they are against this country recovering in any way. When the republicans are willing to hurt America because they want desperately to undermine the President working for the good of our nation they are rotten and anti-American.
