Well, this just simply can't be true. Republicans are always telling us how patriotic they are. They buy American flags by the gross! This would be about the same as burning one of those flags. Actually it's whole heck of a lot worse! I can't think of anything more unamerican that taking away another's right to vote.
It will not likely be so close that the confusion efforts will have any impact. Most polls show a clear lead for Walker.
Dick Cheney is the last of the big time henchmen. To prevent ballot-box stuffing, they used to lock everyone in the count room and not let them emerge until the vote was certified. The only way to get extra ballots in was for a henchman to have a heart attack and then they'd open the doors to permit the medics in. In 2000 during the Florida re-count, Cheney was far removed from the count process, but his primordial instincts as a henchment overhwelmed him and he had a heart attack anyway.
A Marquette University poll showed Walker with a substantial lead. Of course, just give it a few more hours and we'll know for sure. Are you saying Walker will be defeated and several polls show him behind?
Or are you saying that the unions will be a big factor when turnout is higher than it was in 2010? Election day turnout efforts are most effective in a small, low-turnout elections. Today, 65% of Wisconsin voters are expected to vote. That's bigger than in 2010.
Whether it has an effect or not misses the point, it is illegal to commit voter suppression through fraudulent means. That is the sort of situation ethic that says I ran a stop sign, but there was no accident so it is all right. That is absurd.
A person would have to be pretty stupid to even believe a call like this. Still, this isn't as bad as the problems with the 2008 presidential election and what the New Black Panther Party and Acorn did with voter intimidation, threats and voter fraud, including paying people to vote; but of course, Holder excused this because it involved liberal constituents.
I have never seen any post from you that encourages more Americans to vote. All your comments support voter suppression. Isn't reducing the number of voter a cental part of Republican strategy?
Isn't it funny that so many Republicans are on here whining with these outlandish stories about outside influences converging on Wisconsin to vote! I mean are you people serious? Do you really think that the American people are that stupid? Besides, it's the Koch brothers who rent the busses. You know, that's what they did with the tea party and the town hall meetings.
Hey, Mike, I saw hundreds of Republican voters from Indiana crossing the border in limousines to vote in Wisconsin. Please check it out.
That's right, when confronted with FACTS about fraudulent emails and robocalls, Repubs try to change the subject by making up stories about phantom buses.
Despite all the complaints about ACORN and unauthorized voting, it is the Republican Party that is committing fraud by trying to prevent people from voting by any means possible.
this is what happens when only extremists go at it from the ends leaving the middle to do what is right and clean house of both ends too much right or Left is wrong regardless is only a happy medium that gets honest control of governed by the leadership of government.
It is clear that voter supression is from the highly corrupt GOP. All the money they spent to thwart this recall and still they lie to try to win. Why would anyone ever vote GOP when voter supression is Anti-American and their lies are so blatant? The GOP are clearly the party with no moral fiber and could not possibly be religious in any way.
Very obvious. But tell that to a GOP supporter and they'll find some reason to ignore it and the reason will be to blame Obama for something the GOP did!
any lobby group could be doing a fake dont vote call up thing is all calls are traceable to source so its stupid to do it you can be traced and odds are if its done it will be traced go vote and be honest if hes recalled so be it if not do it honestly other wise karma will catch ya in the end.. and it will be the end of your political life
Voter suppression has been a high priority for the Republican Party so it would be no surprise if some Republican supporters risk jail in order to accomplish the basic task of keeping the opposition from voting.
Has anyone ever heard a Republican state that more Americans need to vote? Never have those words come from any Republican. Rather, we hear them proposing that only land owners be allowed to vote, only income tax payers be allowed to vote, etc.
Once you let the Republican take away your right to vote this country is finished.
it can be traced but go vote first then turn in the number that called you with the fake statement enough calls and they will be tagged and banned from working for a dishonest win
ZR28, do you have any proof that there are illegal aliens from Mexico with fraudulent ID's from ACORN voting? I mean thanks to Republican efforts to demonize ACORN, ACORN no longer exist. Besides, why would illegals vote in this election, what would it benefit them and why would they risk it? Here we go with the Republican boogyman. Be afraid, be very afraid, people are actually exercising their right to vote and it may be against Republicans.......
ZR28 is trying to justify voter suppression. What did I say? There is no Republican that will support the right to vote. They only care about restricting or eliminating the right to vote.
When you vote, you sign in a sign-in sheet saying who you are. If somebody else is impersonating me, that is a fraud. And that is happening in the banks when someone stole my debit card information. All the ID in the world could not stop that from happening. So NO - VOTER ID Laws are merely Voter Suppression Tools. It has nothing to do with keeping voting clean, but it has everything to do with keeping grannies and college kids away from the polls..
I have heard Republicans state that not everyone should have the right to vote because they will not vote the way the Republicans want them to vote. Now that takes the cake!
