They whine about jobs but can't be bothered to hire Americans.
THIS GOP IS A COMPLETE EMBARRASSMENT TO THIS COUNTRY.
How many more articles have to be put up for people to read to get such a simple fact across, noting that Democrats aren't always perfect and seem easy to cater to the GOP at times as well, but that's not the main issue right now. GOP hypocrisy is, as the article is about the GOP.
Bush had total control from 2001 to 2006, and nobody got shot or quit early or anything else to wreck the chances of a filibuster-proof session. Bush, McConnell, Cantor, and the other slimeballs ratcheted debt up very quickly.
Yes, Obama has spent. Subsidy and bailouts to corporations gutting this country still continues and if Obama put his foot down, his opponents would really have a field day (at this point, Mr President, to be frank, screw 'em. Enough is enough and you HAVE proven it, as I've pointed out to people around here time and again.)
This is KKKarl Rovian at its finest: blame someone else for what you do or have done. Based on this theorem, they are pretty much admitting that the Bush Cheney Crime Family and their GOP cronies caused the debt. And of course the facts back that up 100%.
Yes, we all know the Republican administrations had nothing to do with our national debt. If Romney were President, he has wonderful plans to do way with it without harming the middle class or the poor. Crossroads wants one thing and one thing only: more power to Big Money and Big Banks.
Crossroads people should be reading these responses to this article... they would retract their garbage very quickly, with the truth clearly showing how outrageous and outlandish they are.
We know who spent us into this mess, while cutting taxes for the wealthy, and while starting two wars with no one paying for trillions of war spending. We know who stood up and said we all need to help pay our share of the war - that was Democrats, and we know it was Cheney who said deficits don't matter. That sure did not matter to any in the GOP who rubber-stamped all the exorbitant spending without a peep. Then President Obama comes in facing a financial mess and does all he can for Americans in the middle class with the Recovery Act - republicans hated the stimulus. President Obama saved the American car industry - republicans hated that. President Obama made sure more Americans now have access to health care - republicans demonized health care for all Americans. Some of the policies have gone into effect like no child will be denied care for a pre-existing condition. Young adults can stay on their parent's health insurance until the age of 26. There are so many benefits that amount to health care fairness that will go into effect in 2014. America has a chance to improve. We can't go back to being ruled by corporate owned republican billionaires against everything other than tax cuts.
The only problem with the ad is that the Republicons and the Conservatives like Crossroads ARE THE ONES RESPONSIBLE for the debt. They always do this, time after time. How stupid do they think we are anyway?
Something like 58 million Americans keep believing the GOP is innocent of any wrongdoing...
Democrats are responsible for some of it, but try to get a republican to explain 2001-2006, and I put out some links to very damning articles above... they can't. Or will try to spin things up the wazoo. I may not be keen on politicians, but on a scale of 1 to 10 of "credibility loss" (10 being the worst), Democrats are up to 5 and the GOP is at 17. The latter has become a true joke, but I worry the Democrats are just as much sellouts, hiding behind the cause of "compromise". If both sides are bought and paid for, of course, at which point both get a score of 30. Only oligarchies and plutocracies sell to the highest bidder. Democracies, comprised of thinking people, don't bend over to those with the money and freedom, and especially if those with the money use theirs to deprive others of theirs... that isn't freedom in any way shape or form.
Are you being serious? Try a cat carrier for several reasons. One being it keeps your cat safer in case of a car accidents. The other is it could keep the animal out of your way so you do not cause an accident that might kill people. If you were being silly I am being serious.
I keep hearing from right-wingers how society is breaking down.
You mentioned the 80s.
The next one who talks of society will be plentifully reminded of the rhetoric Reagan and especially Thatcher spewed out. Such as "There is no such thing as a society. There are only individual men, women, and families." The rightwingers wanted that, they got it, now they blame (everybody else) because of it. It's a true JOKE, and not the funny kind...

Even down to this, about jobs:

Oh, Bush started the car bailouts as well... I've posted that article about the stopgap given to GM and Chrysler from Dec 08 in the past...
we can write it all off now as boolsheet
