Good to see the liberals showing president Bush the respect they so adamantly demand Obama deserves!

Can you point me to the time in Obama's presidency where 4600+ American troops were sent to die in the desert, for no apparent reason?

I respect President Bush. I respect all Presidents because if you are a patriot, you ALWAYS respect the Office of President , even if you disagree with a particular President's policies. Are you a real patriot, Smokey or just another Tea Party hater?

smehl - you can respect the office, but it doesn't mean you respect the man. Two completely different things.

I respect any person who wakes up one day, looks in the mirror, and says to themselves, I can lead this nation. I completely disagreed with most of President Bush's decisions, policies, perspectives, and cabinet choices. However, he and all who ever run for public office put themselves out there in a way that most of us would never dream of.

Yes, there is ego and power involved, but you are also constantly traveling to meet your constituents, putting a target on your and your family's backs, taking on the burden of the nation's and world's problems, and accepting that your legacy will forever be debated by those with very little knowledge of what you actually went through.

Any President deserves some degree of respect for that.

Mr. Bush chided the cheering audience to quiet down and thanked President Obama "for inviting our rowdy friends to my hanging."

That's one event that should be televised nationally - Bush's public hanging!

Obama has not done the opposite of Bush, as a matter of fact he has retained many of the Bush administrations failed policies.

Were you FOR the "6-week" Iraq war?

Do you mind that we Americans are paying for their universal healthcare? Do you mind that we Americans are paying for ISRAEL's universal healthcare, too?

Do you know anything about Medicare Part D, in which the pharm companies could choose what to charge taxpayers?

Do you know that Bush, for the first time in history, borrowed war funding from FOREIGN sources?

Do you know that Bush, for the first time in history, LOWERED taxes during a time of war?

If you don't know any of the above list, you probably voted for GWB twice.
