In my every so humble opinion, what you are feeling is something "similar" to an earthquake, in terms of vibration, ground movement, etc.....but they aren't true earthquakes from the earth, they are movements due to drilling.....not the same thing.

TIMPSON, Texas — A moderate earthquake rattled an area in east Texas near the Louisiana border.

National Earthquake Information Center geophysicist Amy Vaughan says the quake happened at 3:12 a.m. Thursday and had a magnitude of 4.3. It was centered near Timpson, Texas.

Shelby County Sheriff's dispatcher Jacob Allen says the only injury reported they've received is an elderly woman who fell out of her bed and cut her arm. Allen says the quake caused broken windows and fallen dishes, but no major damage has been reported.

Vaughan says the quake was felt within 75 miles of its epicenter. She also said the same area was the site of a 3.9 magnitude quake on May 10.

Zann-Zel, Trout can attest to the fact, that earthquakes can and do occurr in areas that are NOT earthquake prone, such as the east coast with the recent virginia earthquake.....just because you haven't seen or felt one doesn't mean they can't occur in texas.....don't forget the planet operates in million and billions of years, not 100's like you are remembering.

Coincidence my Foot!

They said these were not aftershocks but separate earthquakes.

George - you checked the outlying communities to see if there are any Fracking operations going on lately? I believe it was Illinois..or Indiana...I heard about, had the same thing recently.

Good news, global warming hasn't gotten a foothold yet....lol

Texas' climate is mostly arid desert, right ? so aren't droughts common in deserts ? that's what defines a desert, lackof rain....it's not global warming, it's a desert.
-------------------
LOL! No Texas isn't all desert land! That's West Texas you're thinking of! East Texas is usually very humid and full of pine trees - south Texas has the oceans. Texas is too big to be ALL of any one thing! : )

I'll tell you one NEW thing happening in Texas though! EARTHQUAKES!!! : ( NOT happy with this! Totally caused by fracking!

I don't claim to be a scientist of any sort.
But logic tells me - I've lived in Texas most my life, and I've NEVER heard of an earthquake in all this time! NOW they're doing Fracking a little north of hear and guess what - EARTHQUAKES a little north of here!! They put a pipe in the ground and pump chemicals in and cause cracks! Do ya really think that will have NO affect on things???

The oil movement AND the anti-oil movement can all go...jump in the lake too!

I know what I've NEVER felt in Texas before - an earthquake!
I know what I've just recently started seeing in Texas - signs for Fracking companies!
I don't need someone else to add 2 and 2 for me!

First one I believe was a 3.7 the next week a 4.2 - the next week was 2.something! That's THREE within three weeks, after years of having ZERO.

If somoene chooses to NEVER have insurance that is still their right.
_______________

Not according to Obamacare......the IRS will deem what is considered an "acceptable level of coverage" you will be required to have, and prove you have in place, or face fines and or imprisonment if those fines are not paid, for failing to have what the IRS considers "acceptable".

So, you don't have the right to not have insurance, that's what the mandate was all about, the argument was you can't force someone who doesn't want insurance to buy insurance.
------------------

George that ONLY goes into affect if you show up at the ER expecting treatment but unable to pay your bill!

So if you don't WANT insurance, and you don't WANT to pay your bill, you DO still have the option to stay home and suffer!

Well somethins got to give George!
Either the government starts making the insurance companies accountable - or people are going to start getting angry and blowing up insurance companies for playing God.

well healing people is about love, until you "force" people to do this and that, and force people to fund other's lifestyles and care, then it becomes not about the care, but about who's picking up the tab......the meal is delicious, but who's picking up the check, different issues.
---------------------
Where do you get this idea of "force" George?
If somoene chooses to NEVER have insurance that is still their right.
They just don't have the right to show up at the ER and leave the bill for someone else to pay!

I'm wondering if Cruz had to buy all the iced tea for those 6 people who showed up?????????
----------------
In a Texas BBQ -house he'd only have to buy one glass of tea each - free refils! : )
And I can't believe its so empty? There must have been a sign outside saying there was a politician inside - so most people found somewhere less sickening to eat! LOL!

That's why so many of those red states like Texas are so corrupt. Not enough people pay attention to politics.

No George the Constitution does not control my ideals - I think for myself! Even the Bible does not control my ideals!
______________

So then break the law, if you wish.......and I can think of certain instances, where breaking the law would be acceptable.....life/death, etc.....but for you to pretend you aren't under any laws, because you "think for yourself" while nice of you to think that way, is not applicable in society.....we jail those people that refuse to obey the rule of law, regardless of their ideals.
-------------------------
George you missed my whole point.

What I'm attempting to say is, I think for myself and if I think something our government is doing is WRONG - constitutional or not - I will try to change it. And we SHOULD try to change it! We should be responsible for what our government today does. We shouldn't JUST rely on the thoughts of the founding fathers!
