So, again, Empire -

You clearly have no clue as to how the rich live, as you evidenced by trying to say they wish to make bank interest.

You keep discussing topics you have no clue about, then whine and complain when people correct you using facts and verifiable links.

Why is that? Bad upbringing? Brainwashing? I'm just curious. Thanks.

by troutfishman2 May 25, 2012 4:06 PM EDT I am not here to say what is right or wrong. I am simply pointing out for the 10th time that changes in the tax code are responsible for the huge and growing wealth gap.

See ya.

----

The circular arguments of the undereducated - Empire and perish in this case - are entirely predictable, as they are parrots, incapable of independent critical thought.

Have a good one, Trout!

sevenlucky7, it was my conversation with trout that we are discussing, and YOU are correct, it was about purchases and it is always cheaper to buy outright instead of paying 15 years of interest.

----

"Your" discussion? Get a private room, jackhole - this is a comment board.

The point was about your incorrect statement that the rich loan banks money, Empire. And that had NOTHING to do with "purchases", did it?

What's funny is watching you "half-ignore" my comments, yet still respond to them!

Let's go back to the original questions because the right wingers never really want to answer questions, they just change the subject. Flip-flop, flip-flop, flip-flop...

Here is another couple questions: Does anyone really think that America should be run like a corporation? Is anyone questioning the facts of the ENORMOUS gap between rich and poor, and between CEO and workers in America? Does anyone think this has done America well?

What bothers me is that so many so-called fiscal conservatives are just fine with tax credits and subsidies for corporations, even though it cost us $1.1 TRILLION in lost revenue in 2011 alone.

Yet, for some reason, they think that if we take away their entitlements, the big bad corporations will raise rates. Hint: they didn't lower them after they got their entitlements...

Being rich, makes you more rich, because you can lend your money to banks.

----

That is the MOST stupid statement I've seen from Empire in a long time.

Empire - if you take bank interest, you have to pay taxes on it. Instead, if you are rich, you continually TAKE OUT LOANS to live on, as
1) you get the best rates and
2) you not only avoid paying taxes on interest income, you can actually write off the interest you pay.

That is an actual FACT of anyone who is truly wealthy and has any type of decent accountant.

What you don't know could fill the oceans all over again.

Come on, Empire - why do you continually feel the need to spout off on topics you know nothing about?

Can't answer? Cat got your tongue, or is it cowardice which has your tongue?

Incorrect. Thank you for proving your ignorance as well.

Purchases aren't being discussed. Try to follow along, Perish.

Where were "purchases" mentioned in the statement of yours I corrected for you, Empire?

The Bush Crime Family got Congressional permission to sanction and to invade as only a last resort. Most of them did not think the terrorist nut job Bushoccion was crazy enough to rush into a nation building war (no one could be THAT stupid).

And in fact almost 1/4 of the Senate (all Democrats) did NOT authorize the idiots in charge the open ended authorization.

But that fiasco was not enough for the RepubliCONS. They want Mitler to do a war in Iran. I guess we need to oil to waste huh George?

Empire, you were not paying attention again (or you don't want to remember). Bushoccio and his neo con ilk lied us into war and misled the Congress. Apparently that was legal because no one went to jail. But is really was no legal, moral or right.

Do any facts or events ever register in the minds of right wingers? Or is it whatever you think is right?

Just because something is legal, does not mean it is right. For example, it is apparently legal for a President to start wars without Congressional approval. And to break many other existing laws like Bush-Cheney did. Does that make it right?
