Romney was against the bailout before he decided to credit for it.

If it had failed then he would be taking the opposite position.

Even the most hard core Republicans are starting to see that Mitt is a dangerous wacko and a ten time loser.

This is Romney's campaign strategy. Romney will just say he would have done the same thing if anything Obama does is wildly successful. If the result is negative or still in doubt, he'll just say he was against it. If he's asked about any specific policies, you just get crickets.
Does anyone doubt that if the mission to get Bin Laden had failed that Romney would be saying today that he wouldn't have done it?

DJ342014,
I think it's pretty obvious that Romney is so indecisive (didn't realize he was anti-choice until his fifties; did realize he was anti federal mandate until 2010; didn't realize he was anti cap and trade until just recently) that he probably wouldn't have taken the chance on the Bin Laden mission.

He and all the reps are very much in favor of going to war in Iran, NKorea and god knows where else.
Are his kids going to sign up?

Here's the problem. Armadinajhan hasn't said anything as outlandish as Rommney, but both do it for internal consumption, speaking to the chorus, so to speak. The problem is that the media reports his remarks as if there is some credibility. Everyone with a mind, however, laughs or throws up, depending how they are feeling in the moment, but the novitiates, the romneybots, just take it in as something that is reported by the media as true and uncontested.

I like numbers. Does anyone have a list of presidential candidates, who couldn't carry their home state, (in this case, Michigan, check the polls) where people know and love them the best, and then went on to be elected president?

I highly doubt that Mitt will win his adopted home state of Massachusetts. And, he will never be elected dog-catcher there. He is a failed one term governor who is known to be a corrupt self-serving liar.

When is the media going to start reporting and asking republicans about why they conspired to block everything President Obama proposed to help struggling Americans and bring our great nation out of the economic mess they created? And on the very day President Obama was inaugurated no less.

A new book by Robert Draper titled "Do Not Ask What Good We Do" documents how republicans conspired to block everything President Obama proposes to bring the country out of the economic mess that republicans created. Why aren't reporters asking republicans why voters should reward them with votes for their unpatriotic, despicable, treasonous acts?
Republican teabagging extremist bigoted insurgents like B itch McConnell can't accept a Black Democratic president and are being uncooperative doing everything in their power to make sure he fails.

President Obama's biggest mistake was expecting republicans to bargain in good faith when in reality they are sabotaging anything President Obama does that might help average Americans at every turn in order to defeat him. Republicans have more allegiance to Grover Norquist and his pledge of never raise taxes under any circumstance than the constitution and country. Whatever happened to country first. F"ing treasonous republican hypocrites.

Good book. Unsettling. We are at a cross-road where the American people either wrest control of our Representative Democracy from the corporate plutocrats, or perish in a disporic future of ever-closing desperation in the service of "employee manual" dictation of their very lives.

This is typical of Romney - he's an opportunist who will say anything to get elected. In Massachusetts he pushed a healthcare program almost identical to President Obama's, but that doesn't work for the more conservative national GOP stage so he's waffled on that. Now he wants to claim credit for something in which he had no involvement, much as he tried to associate himself with Bin Laden's elimination even after he criticized Obama for saying we'd go into Pakistan uninvited if necessary. President Obama has shown that he is a real leader who sticks to his principles rather than turning with the political wind; we need to stick with him in November.

LMAO!!!

You're still trying to use that stupid attempt at swiftboating the President?!?

That line sputtered and died five minutes after Piglet Rove and his merry little band of trolls tossed it out there... try to keep up.

Once again, Mitt the flip flopper has flipped on an issue. He was adamantly against the auto industry bailout until it became successful, he now wants to take credit for something that he is on record opposing.
