If the House was willing to budge and compromise, something might get done. This is the mess that the GOP left us. A tax cut, prescription coverage, and war that makes up much of the deficit. Spending cuts will not alone be able to help us solve the deficit. Looking at the Ryan Budget, having the poor pay for the deficit will not work. The Bush Tax Cuts shows how the trickling down theory do not work. People who run businesses will try to not bad business decisions. With no middle class = no demand.
