And Barack Obama is actually a Mormon who strapped his dog to the roof of his car.

Oh, and Obama's dad used to be governor of Michigan.

And Obama ran Bain Capital, too. Isn't that awful?

This one's even better than Mitt Romney (who has two degrees from Harvard) asserting that Obama's big problem is that he spent too much time at Harvard.

Please, Mitt, tell us all about your magic underwear.....
tell us how Mormon women are second class citizens and must be obedient to their husbands....
tell us how barren women are downcast by their fellow Mormon believers....
Yes, tell us (all women) that their true value is in producing babies and staying home taking care of them....

Would you choose a woman vice-president to show you have no biased feelings toward women? (Or, would you do this because it could help you get women's votes? For that you would do anything...right?)

Nope. Sorry but anyone with any common sense can see it has been the Republicans who are waging war on women, children, the poor, the...need I go on? Only the rich are safe from the likes of Romney and the GOP.

Boy that is a weak argument... To try to get the women vote.

If you want the female vote you need to work on treating them like people.

Wow! Have I missed something?

Anyway, I went through the comments. Poor Don...I mean Dan.

Back to the topic with focus on Andrew Stiles' article about White House and fair pay:

I noticed there were two Tea Party Obama haters who keep citing the Andrews Stiles article. I read it. I also did some research and found that Andrew Stiles is ideologically opposed to Obama in nearly every way. Stiles is another Bill Kristol. The Washington Free Beacon is very conservative site, some one called it Combat Journalism. Be careful.

In an article defending Ryan's plan for Medicare, back in July of 2011 Stiles kept bring up saying that Obama will ration (death panels) health care.

Alarm bells should be ring. This guy's article should be read with caution.

Another article by Stiles says that since Zimmerman is registered as a Democrat and may have voted for Obama, then those crazy liberals are attacking their own. Whatever. Weird argument. Like every Democrat upon hearing about his voting record is suddenly going to forgive Zimmerman.

Then I checked out if there were any rebuttals against Stiles. Nothing really at the moment, perhaps it is early days. There is one good one that refutes Stiles's findings. I suggest you take a look: http://tbogg.firedoglake.com/2012/04/11/free-bacon-now-outdumbing-daily-caller-and-breitbarts-chalk-outline/

In addition to sources opposing Stiles read the following which goes against his assertions: http://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/disclosures/annual-records/2011 Seems to show fair pay based on positions and job descriptions. It does show also there is a unbalance gender gap in the very top tiers. But don't the GOP keep ranting against quotas and want everything based on merit? Just a thought.

But I did notice that every, and I mean every GOP outlet, web site, whatever cited Andrew Stiles's article. They pounced on it like hungry lions, loving every morsel. Come on guys, back in my undergraduate days I learned that opinions needed to be supported by more than one source and one secondary source is definitely not enough. It isn't any good to take one person's view and use it to support your own. There has to be more in order to give the argument substantial weight.

How can anyone have an informed opinion without understanding the other side?

Romney is certainly going to TRY to shift the conversation but I don't think he's going to be successful. Once the story came out of him dragging the family pooch along on vacation on top of the car in a cage, I can't watch him running his mouth without thinking of Chevy Chase standing behind that but-ugly station wagon with the dog leash hanging on the rear bumper in "Vacation"

Romney is not a bright fellow. Romney is a citizen of Mexico as well as the U.S. Art 30 of the Mexican Constitution grants Mitt Romney birth citizenship as his father George Romney was born in Mexico.

Most women aren't fooled by the Mittster's skewed unemployment statistics. Nor will we forget dozens of GOP attempts this year to control women's bodies.

But can somebody explain why anyone -- male or female -- would think a leveraged buyout artist is a great candidate for president. LBO "entrepreneurs" spot an "undervalued" company, take it over for less than it's worth, make it more valuable by laying off half or more of its employees, and then sell it or take it public so they can make millions of dollars for themselves. At best, they make tons of money and some other people make a little money; at worst, they make tons of money and everyone else loses. Is this who we ought to trust to manage the U.S. economy?

Keep in mind that the people who are poor enough business leaders to lead a company into the ground, cannot be expected to have the stomach to make the tough decisions to lay off people to keep their company profitable in the first place. Don't blame the LBO people for showing up, their opportunity to exist was created by the wimps running the company and the wimp stockholders who couldn't fire them.

Romney is an opportunist. He would never be able to survive against a Republican with any credibility, but none of the credible Republicans thought they would have a chance against Obama so they decided to sit this election out. Romney saw this and realized that all he would need to get the nomination is to have just a little bit more credibility than Ron Paul.
