I love this guy. Not only did he give 2 million dollars to Obama, he told Michael Eisner to F*ck himself.

While I am happy to see the contribution to Obama's campaign, I cannot help but ask why all of this money that is spent on campaigns cannot be directed into areas that really need it, like hospitals, schools, etc.
It seems to me that all of the dialogue about the bad economy, etc, is just pointless. If this money is available, why is it wasted on elections?
Candidates should all have an even platform - money should not factor into the elections. It makes a mockery of the process.

Thank you Jeffrey!!!!!

Think about it: Romney and the rest of rich Republicans want to give tax cuts to themselves, while guys like Jeffrey and Bill give donations to someone who thinks the right thing to do is raise taxes on the wealthy for the benefit of the country and everyone else. Who do you think has more honor, supporting a cause that works against your personal self interest, or the righwingers who only care about their own self interest.

And think about this: the nation is at war, young men and woman are dying for our nation, and all the Rightwing wants to do is give themselves tax cuts. Shame on them. If this was WW2 they would have been shot for treason for even suggesting such an idea.

Thank you Mr. Katzenberg. Having said that the Supreme Court decision on the "Citizens United" was a stupid one. Well, "what's good for the gander is good for the goose."

This article must be part of the "Vast Right Wing Conspiracy". We all know that all the billionaires are Republicans, not Democrats. The Democrats are all poor, blue collar, hard working factory workers, restaurant employees, teachers and office clerks. No Democrats can afford to give much to politicians because they are barely above minimum wage earners and give as much as they can to charity. This is the type of lies spread by George Bush, Dick Cheney, and Carl Rove types to make the "Emperor " look silly.

All Democrats need to vote early and vote often to overcome stories like this.

The Reeps love Citizens United as long as it is Republicans who are being supported.

I sure hope others are paying attention. I continue to be appalled by the misinformation and outright lies coming from the right. And they are so proud to call themselves CHRISTIANS!

Well I won't be going to any of your movies again! Like my measly $10 matters or anything. At least I don't have to donate to your cause.

"donttread" - delusional tea party member, no doubt. So what's your flavor, religious zealot, or hypocritical tax loather? Either way, you fools (and I mean the new tea-party congressman elected in 2010) are systematically destroying this country. Please, refrain from opinion, just sit back and let the adults fix this country...
