I want to get rid of the idiotic health care law, the federal Department of Education (states are responsible for educating our children, the federal department is a waste of money), and the federal Department of Energy (which in recent years has been about the effort to hamper oil production in the US). I am for getting rid of all three of those entities.
I am for term limits for Congress; 2 six year terms for the Senate and 3 two year terms for the House.
I am for a Balanced Budget Amendment - my state doesn't allow itself to exercise deficit spending, and neither should the federal government (expect for specific conditions of national emergencies - but this must be severely limited).
I am for getting rid of tax loopholes - so that Congress is limited in granting power to lobbyists over the power of those who elected the politicians. Replacing the federal income tax with a Fair Tax or a national sales tax would be better than the idiotic tax codes we currently have. It is absurd that we live in a country that forces citizens to figure out how much tax is owed, and if we get it wrong we are fined or put in jail. This is stupid.
Abortions are everywhere. Do we close all medical facilities. I received help from plan parenthood once when I had already went to 3 male doctors and they didn't know what they were doing. I had emergency surgery and lost my ovary and they scraped the other. Because of their neglect; I was never able to have a child after that. I had went to Planned Parenthood to see if they could help me. I am not the only woman that had to turn to them. They were far more knowlegeable than the male physicians. Yes, if I had only taken contraceptive. I have a relative that had a miscarriage and was told to get a DNC; it would be cheaper for her to go to Planned Parenthood. Did anyone every listen to hear they do much more than abortions. Abortions is a very small % of what they do. The hospitals are that way, too. I don't hear an issue about them. Oh, they are not just for women.
