Funny how being a 'Christian' only applies to areas where they want to legislate their religious beliefs and force others to behave in a certain way......

...but never applies to how they carry out their own lives.

A little honesty would seem to be in order if you're going to keep trying to run on the 'Christian' platform, Mr Santorum.

The biggest problem for the Dems in November will be overconfidence.

We MUST get out the vote, even if (when) the polls show a huge lead over whathever sad sack the GOP puts out there.

I can't argue with you on that. Let's each one get at least 5 students and others registered to vote.

Apath is how Rick Perry keeps getting elected. In the last election we had a 32% turnout. Remember, "bad laws are made by bad politicians, who get elected by good people who don't vote".

Rick Santorium is taking a page out of Newt Gingrich's playbook. Make claims about being positive out of one side of your mouth while keeping up the negative attacks out of the other side.

Yes, indeed. And in order for that to happen, we need volunteers and money. Even if you only give $5, it will help. Let's get out the vote. Volunteer to register voters and drive them to the polls in November. We cannot afford to be complacent even with this Republican clown show that is going on with these 4 "candidates".

He said his priorities are: Cut $5 trillion in government spending in 5 years; repeal President Obama's health care law; approve the Keystone pipeline to bring oil from Canada to U.S. refineries; and eliminate regulations approved by the Obama administration.

Woo hoo. Keep the American cash pouring into Canada. No wonder we can afford a "free" health care system.

-A Canadian.

Rick Santorum seems to have a morbid preoccupation with nonstandard sex. Also, he's clearly a bigot, "by God!" He (and Franklin Graham) have played the Religion Card, calling Obama and any pro-choice persons "not Christians." The Religion Card is more powerful even than the Race Card. When it comes to motivating impassioned zealots to assassination attempts and bombings nothing trumps religion as a motivator. THat's why the founders wrote in the Constitution Art vi, sect 3: No religious test shall ever be required as a qualification for office or public trust under the United States. They are trying precisely to establish such a religious test. So much for venerating the Constitution.

I can't wait until Santorum getselected POTUS. Hecan then create the US sex police. It will be thier job to make sure all Hetero Married couples are having sex in the proper position and the every sex act will result in a pregnancy. The sex police will have the authroty to eter your house at any time to make sure everyone is in compliance. They can also double as the mattress police and make sure the "do not remove tag" is still there.

I just have to wonder how on Earth they come up with these kinds of numbers - have they ever even looked at the US budget? To get this level of cuts would require an across the board cut of 30%... that's everything, SS, Medicare, Defense, all Federal Programs... that's just not possible without turning our nation into a Banana Republic. And what do they think cutting a $Trillion/year out of our very fragile economy would do?
