Obama won't have to campaign very hard against the Republicans. They
are going to beat themselves. Lord, I'll be glad when this campaign
is over. TCM is now my favorite channel. You might have to watch
old movies, but you always know who the bad guy is.

To avoid serious side effects see your health care provider for immediate attention if you experience an election lasting more than 4 years.

The protracted fight between Obama and Hillary Clinton did not result in Obama losing the election.

The argument can be made that he was better organized in more states, thanks to a protracted nomination campaign.

This stuff - doesn't hurt the Republicans. It'll be long forgotten once the general election comes around.

But the Republicans probably won't win - it's because historically incumbents win and Obama is the incumbent.

To throw an incumbent out would require a bad economy - our economy isn't great, but if the feeling is that the economy is improving - I don't see Obama losing.

rob, the difference was that the Obama-Clinton fight wasn't as nasty, nobody expected it (which means the GOP didn't take notes).

This time I assure you the Dems will roll out every nasty anti-Romney, Santorum or whoever else gets the nod.

Republicans suck. Notice how as soon as the conservatives let in the extremists the conversation changes from the economy to who can sleep with who or who can use contraception or are women fit for the military and every other "non" issue facing the middle class today. I'll vote for Obama over one of these GOP clowns any day.

Santorum may be dumb but he's not stupid. He has seen the Romney SuperPacs eat up front-runner after front-runner. If Santorum truly wants to stay in the race until the convention, he has to go negative.

You are so wrong! He is not going negative. He is defending himself from a disingenuous snake oil salesman (like Obama). He has that right. If he does not, he looks like the woos that you hope that he will be, so that he can lose to the obamination in the White House.

When I think of "snake oil" I think of Palin.

And what are "woos"?

The only thing that a Santorum candidacy will do is guarantee the re-election of Obama. Moderates and independents will not vote for the Opus Dei nominee.

I'm loving it. While these GOP chipmunks throw hypocritical mud at each other, Obama looks better and better. All politicians are cagey and deceptive, but the credibility difference between this field of GOPers and the president is huge.

And the image. This is a laughably cartoonish ad, that makes them BOTH look ridiculous.
