Pretty amazing that Santorum is doing this well. It does not appear anyone can beat President Obama though. Should be an exciting race.

its over for Romney. Santorum is pretty far right, but at least he's the only one sensible about tax policy in stating that he would have the upper tax rate at 28% (Obama's would be 30%...and the other chump candidates would reduce the tax rate for millionares to under 20%)

If he repubs put up Romney, Santorum or Gingrich, Obama has the incumbent advantage and no significant difference in policies. Obama will likley win. Paul, n the other hand, has some substantially different ideas on the role of government. That would be an interesting debate on which future we want to choose. I definitely choose personal liberty with government protection over centralized planning.

They did go under. GM spending more on health care than steel should have been a sign. But thanks to the government stepping in and robbing bond holders of these companies the unions did not lose as much power as the would have otherwise. I am not anti union but some do use their power to blackmail idiotic management to give them so much it drives the company bankrupt. If you look at what he actually said it was along the lines of we have a process that every other companies goes through in bankruptcy, Chrysler years ago, that should be used instead of bailouts.
