President Obama wrote those books before he was in any elected office. So it is really funny to think that his book was popular and a great success for any reason other than people bought it. Our president is a millionaire and made plenty on his book since taking office...no one seems to care about that. If Santorum, or anyone else has made millions legally, then they shouldn't be criticized or faulted. Our president went out of his way to try and come off as an average Joe all the while living in a pricey mansion in Chicago. Why is it OK for Dems to be wealthy, but not Repubs? What bothers me about this developing news is that on earlier debates I watched him attack Romney for making money and especially how he went after Newt for being a Washington insider and lobbist. Seems he is no better than those he attacked!
There is nothing wrong with anyone being wealthy. Never has been. There is something wrong when greed and corruption take over and is power hungry and for ruthless purposes. A corrupt and power driven ideology that oppresses and harms is the GOP agenda. No one will ever blame or judge anyone for working hard and being very successful.
