"If Santorum can unite evangelicals nationwide as he did in Iowa, he is well positioned to potentially win the nomination."

Wrong. He has less chance of winning than Ron Paul. He has offended the gay community, cannot pick up independents much and definitely cannot attract any Democrats, something Paul has done.

The only real reason he almost won was that he was the last flavour after everyone else had been tested and luckily for him, he has not yet been vetted by intense media scrutiny. In the next two weeks after a barrage of ads that show his positions, he will be history.

Santorum would establish a theocracy. He would impose his religious belief as the national religion. To do that he would follow the new extreme ideology of the GOP, which is to dismantle the Constitution and do away with the First Amendment which gives us free speech, press, religion, peaceful assembly, protest and petition. That would strip away our right to be informed by a free press and our right to speak our opinions. GOP doesn't believe in labor laws, minimum wages, environmental regulations; and they've said that only people who "own" property should be able to vote, so no one who "rents" their home would have a voice in our government. That is slave labor. GOP wants to create a two class system of rich and poor. The only party that defends the working class is the Democrats. I will vote to re-elect President Obama.

Because they are stupid fuking bible-thumpers who will vote for a gay hating, immigrant bashing, anti-abortionist Neanderthal who has ZERO chance of winning the nomination, let alone the election.

Slant the article to trash someone just because you are afraid of loosing an election! What's wrong with someone having faith in what they believe? I'm no holy roller, but according to this article, it's OK to slander and shame someone for his religious beliefs! That's racist... and shame on you for lowering your media standards! Here's a thought, how about reporting the news with NO media bias! If you did, this wouldn't even be considered news!

I'm a Democrat and a liberal, bleeding heart and all. Therefore I'm rooting for Santorum to become the GOP nominee. He's not electable; Romney is. And please note that "electable" simply means he CAN win. Doesn't mean he WILL win.

What I find funny is the reporters in the media have basically no knowledge of what evangecials believe and why they believe it. As a matter of fact this applies to many who show their lack of knowledge by what they post.
