I wonder why this story failed to mention the real news of this debate... the total rejection of the character assination of Mr. Cain by the audience? The media wants people to get hung-up over these meaningless "gotcha" moments that don't reflect the total package of any of the candidates and taken seperately, don't have any real meaning. I frequently see people who "blank" on names of friends they've had for years. All of us do. We are in a vetting process on the republican side right now and the winner of that will become clear in about March. If President Obama had gone through a vetting process in 2007 we might not be in the sorry shape we are in now.

I lived in TX for a few years after Perry replaced dubya.

He's an idiot.

Now everyone can see for themselves what an idiot he is. Every bit as much of an idiot as Bachmann.

Newt and Cain haven't the character.

Paul has a foot in the grave.

Romney believes in magic undies.

Huntsman is the only repub I could vote for but he's too sane for the righties, so I'll not get the chance.

A dead man with a foot in the grave may be the best thing since sliced bread......I mean how much harm can he do? I have given up on any of them leading so minimizing the damage is attractive to me.

C'mon people, seriously, wrap it up, go home, you Republicans are behind the times, corrupt, greedy, racist, ignorant, selfish, clueless idiots. Barack Obama will be re-elected and we need to seriously vote Democrat for Congress and Senate too so we can get some work done and pass all these bills the Republican controlled Congress keep voting against. The same division in Congress will lead to 4 more years of Republican obstruction, we need to give Obama a real chance here for 4 good years with a serious Democrat majority. Want to get America back to work? vote all Democrat.

Wouldn't it be rational for GOP to invite another batch of Presidential hopefuls before it is too late. I know my candidate Oboma will be laughing at Rick Perry all night, a man GOP thought he was supposed to be meeting on the stage next year 2012. What's a setback for Perry Campaign! This is too big to recover.

Cain's problem is not the sex harassment BS which I think is immaterial. It's his thinking that China is just now trying to get nuclear weapons. It's his being an ex Federal Reserve director and thus being in the pocket of the bank cartel. We can not have a guy who doesn't know basic information be in charge of starting wars. Only Ron Paul thinks about America first-not how to hand out foreign aid and bank bailouts and has more $ support from the millitary than all the others and Obama combined! Cain is against audit of the FED that gave out trillions to foreign banks including Lybia. Perry is clueless and I think in the pocket of too many big contributors trying to get favors. Newt will have ex wives and misstresses coming from the woodwork..if he gets nominated. Romney-you just don't know what to believe..

Rick, ya'll come on back down here to Texas, boy, and see if you can do the job we're paying you to do. You keep palavern'n about what an economic mastermind you are, but you seemed to have overlooked the fact that the unemployment rate in Texas is at 8.5%. That's only 0.5% better than the failed policies of that goldurned, bushwhacken bunch of whippersnappers in the Obama administration. Come on back Rick and give the people who elected you Governor that golden economy you're telling everybody in the whole damn country that you caused in Texas. We'll leave the light on.
