Obama has served his muslim brothers well. If they get off, Obama is happy cause that means Bush screwed up. If they don't get off Obama is happy as they are martyrs for the cause and the circus show took heat off the administration. We need someone in the Whitehouse that sticks up for America. All this puts the bullseye on NYC and rips open wounds trying to heal in that city. All because of Obama's ego. What a joke.

"classified intelligence needs to remain secret"

Somebody should have warned Dick Cheney about that.

Valerie Plame's CIA affiliation was supposed to be classified information.

His office played politics with it.

This is not a joke, and it's not a "mafia kingpin" trial....this involves the exposure of covert intelligence against our enemies....deadly serious

==============================

The trials of the men who facilitate and profit by the illegal drug business, are not jokes either. They are deadly serious. Just ask Rudy Giuliani, who busted the New York Mafia as a young prosecutor.

The Mafia is far more sophisticated then these guys are.

There is classified information in those trials too, and it doesn't leak out.

Yep, Rudy has been asked. And he has said this is a bad idea!

Obama bringing these terrorists to New York is like bringing the trash into your living room and spreading it out! The stench is unbearable. THIS IS THE PERFECT DIVERSION FOR THE FAILINGS OF THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION! Hell, Obama can now turn the heat up on the Republicans by having the trial reveal waterboarding and listening to barney the dinosaur tapes 24/7 at full volume. ALL CONFESSIONS WILL BE INADMISSABLE IN CIVIL CRIMINAL COURT. These terrorists were handled and treated as enemy combatants by the past administration. Under rules of war they were properly treated. Under civil law their rights were violated. IF ONE JUROR SEES IT THIS WAY THEY WALK.

======================================

We'll get to see if this "the-sky-is-falling" prophecy comes true.

It sounds like fearmongering.

The 9/11 attacks were low-tech. They used boxcutters to take over the planes. The nuclear launch codes won't be revealed during the trial.

Mafia kingpins are convicted in open court without classified information (like the names and addresses of informants in the Witness Protection Program) ever being revealed to our enemies during the trials.

Well, erb...you are in the minority thinking this way. The rest of us understand that it is better not to even chance it.

Added, there is no up side to this. No reason to bring them here. No reason to even try them right now. And once we decide to try them, let the military do it without those guys ever getting Constitutional rights, etc.

There is no reason to do this.

Well, this is the result of electing a totally unqualified community organizer, when we needed a "Real" president...we have his justice dept, using a 9/11 mastermind trial to get back at Bush and the former administration, because that's all this is about, an indictment against the Bush administration's handling of these defendents/terrorists.

What's funny is this.....the libs are screaming about giving these guys a "fair" trial in the U.S. justice system, but if these guys were in a safe-house in Pakistan TODAY, Obama would be slamming a hellfire missle from a drone, killing them instantly with instant justice.....how ironic, right ?

Since the Revolutionary war, we've been trying spies and enemy combatants by military trial for a number of good reasons. Obama and co. are misguided in trying to prove a point to the world and for giving the terrorists exactly what they asked for- a national platform in New York. As a New Yorker, it's reprehensible that our security resources and manpower will be diverted to protect the circus and media frenzy that these trials will bring. Meanwhile, some new terrorist cell will be planning something in Queens. KSM and co. have no rights as American citizens. If they were loose in Pakistan, we wouldn't think twice about killing them outright. But I would expect no less from the incompetency of Holder and the rest of this administration.

There's no reason classified information would or should come out during the trial.
_______________

That is the case during a secret/classified military tribunal, but since this is a civilian trial, the defendent has all the rights of an American citizen, including "discovery" where the defendent has access to all the government's case against him, so he can defend the case, according to the rights given him by the Liberal activist justices on the Supreme Court.....so the information will be revealed to our enemies, the public and the media.....Thanks, Barry...thanks...you have no clue about covert intelligence

They could turn the prosecution over to Marcia Clark and Christopher Darden.

And they'd still get a conviction in New York.
