He doesn't know enough to 'quit while he's ahead' for two reaons:
1. In his mind he still thinks what he did was justifiable.
2. He still thinks he's above the law.
At least we haven't heard much from Halliburton..........
First, I think both Cheney and Bush engaged in serious law-breaking. I think it's FACT, not speculation, not opinion, not unsupported assertion!

I think Mr. Obama, the DNC, and Congress ought to forget about getting into some public 'war of words' with him! Instead, do what they should have done to begin with, GO AFTER HIM LEGALLY!
Over 70% of the public would be in favor of it, after all the c*r*a*p he's pulled! The public expected the Democrats to do this as a result of the last election and feel betrayed because they didn't!
They could accomplish two things simultaneously; keeping their word to the public and bringing Cheney to justice!

They will claim that throwing commies out of airplanes was justified. They will claim that they got good information from waterboarding and torturing prisoners. They will claim that giving the children of "disappeared" dissidents to Army officers was better for the kids then having them live with the commie leftist parents.
Cheney lies and his dwindling hateful republican base believe him. President Bush was a terrible president because he had Cheney on one side and Karl Rove on the other. You would have to look really hard to find two more hateful evil republicans in America.
Krusty the Clown Cheney had maybe the worst approval rating in history when he left office. This oaf shot his hunting buddy in the face and took more than 24 hours to mull over a way to lie his way out of it. He reminds me of the Penguin on Batman.
