- I did not vote for him and disagree with some of his ideas, but He does have some ideas that warrant further attention. There are good ideas on both sides of the aisle, if only we could stop the name calling long enough to listen and hold a "healthy debate on these ideas and not disregard them just because someone from the other party thought of it first, we might be better served by those that we elect to hold public office.

- The U.S. is not a corporation. The government is supposed to serve its citizens, and for the most part, it does a good job. The GOP would like to privatize many services and functions of the government not because it's more efficient, but because its cronies can make more money that way. Doesn't have anything to do with the public welfare or common good. It's just money. Calling Steele an idiot isn't hate talk. He is an idiot. Right-wing talk hosts say much worse about liberals.

- Racism is the base of the Republican Conservative Party, it's all the have left...the GOP has failed to provide any beneficial policy and resolution to any problems facing the US. And, in most cases the GO has been the cause of the problem.
If you not part of the solution?
then, you must be a REPUBLICAN!!! - Reply to this comment
- I live in Nebraska which is a conservative state contrlled by the repubs however we had 2moderate senators one from each party. We lost one this last election only to be replaced by a "party "man who votes the party line almost all the time. This is why I raise the question of a third party. I think the loss of Chuck Hagel as a senator is far more detrimental than the loss of Palin.

- You will find out in a few years that it is actually exactly the opposite. What is the largest corporation on this earth? The U.S. Government and its Agencies. Guess who loves this baby - trust me not the republicans. So keep up the hate talk. Thank you.

- o potus - I love you liberals. If a black is a liberal democrat then all is fine, but heaven forbid he or she is a conservative, then the nasty labels some out of the woodwork. I truly pity people like you who are so judgemental of others.
I guess the world cannot have any African Americans who are conservatives huh? - Reply to this comment

- Gee, another idiot in the GOP. What a surprise! As if the neo-con judges aren't activist. The right-wingers on the court favor corporations over individuals. The constitution has to be interpreted; otherwise we would have no need for the court. There's no evidence that the right-wingers interpret any better than the liberals.

- So the U.S. government is a benevolent organization that only cares about the citizens correct? Gee, tell that to the honorable veterans who contiually get great treatment when they return from duty. The U.S. government is the least trusted organization I can think of. I would rather deal with GM and Citigroup. At least I know they are out to get me, but the U.S. government is just totally and utterly incompetent morons.
