- Lies, lies and more lies from Sara
I remember the first lie I was aware of: she sold that jet on eBay. Oh and the famous thanks but no thanks...
Appears she just can not tell the truth about anything.
More so, she doesn't even recognize that she is a flat out pathological lire. - Reply to this comment

- THAT, is the advantage of being a true pathological liar, one doesn't realize it!
Fortunately, the VAST majority of Americans do recognize what she is!
Only a small part don't, and they're not likely to figure it out!

- Contrary to your opinion, we are not afraid of Palin. We decry her sheer stupidity and ignorance. Anybody with an IQ over 100 would know how idiotic she is. In Fact, we would really like to see her run for the 2012 presidential elections. She will help Obama be re-elected. Obama quit because he was running for president. Palin quit within a few months of her term, and years away from the 2012 elections, to make tons of money and further her political career. She is selfish, ignorant, and dmb.

- Afraid? Afraid?!? Of what? A whining, quitter who has no chance of ever winning higher office. This last election made clear that the MAJORITY of the people in the U.S. are tired of having an idiot in our highest office. This woman may have been able to pull the wool over people's eyes at one time, but post-GWB? No way, uh-uh. There is no "vitriol" over this woman. Just complete awe at her stupidity!

- A little further info for you re: Obama's vs. Palin's resignations.
1. Obama was the Illinois Senator from January 4, 2005 to November 16, 2008, almost 4 full years. SP's term as governor only lasted from 2006 until now, about 3 and 1/2 years, with 1 and 1/2 years to go. Partial completion of the term of office is the ONLY similarity.
2. Obama resigned because he was elected President of the United States and he needed to start preparing for the job. Sarah Palin reportedly got a a book deal and is not doing anything useful at all.
3. When Obama resigned, his reason made perfect sense and he expressed himself clearly and unambiguously. When SP suddenly and unexpectedly announced her resignation, she made up a bunch of nonsensical "reasons" and blathered incoherently about a slew of unrelated topics, making most of the country wonder if she was on drugs or if she had simply lost her mind.
4. When SP resigned, she said "I am not a quitter" to justify quitting! Naturally, Obama never said anything so stupid.
To say that there is a "double standard" is ridiculous. People who "see right through the double standard" aren't seeing clearly at all. - Reply to this comment

As a man of truth and honor I will tell you why Palin resigned.
Palin is the beacon of light that America need to lead us from
the darkness that Obama has cast over America. This is best for
Alaska and the rest of America. I will support her...Mr 2258 ...
Man of Honor? Beacon of Light?

- @reallymeanit-- were not laughing as hard we would be if idiots like you and sarah palin were running the country that cant even figure out how to use too vs to in a sentence.
i just skipped an s in one of my messages above but yours is a really stupid grade school mistake and ive seen you make it over and over again. im sooo thankful idiot like you arent running the country.
- Hey this could turn the recession. Ladies grab your pumps and makeup bags,
start running for president. Over seven hundred thou in a few short weeks.
And Blondes don't tell me you are intimidated by Sara. - Reply to this comment
- She gets the treatment she does from the media because she sets herself up for criticism by being ignorant and thin-skinned and making very inconsistent or vague statements. If the GOP likes Palin, they don't have a brain. I can't believe anybody would buy her book, but then again, people buy books by Limbaugh, Beck, and Coulter.

- The heavy-hitters in the GOP will not allow Palin's name to appear on a ticket as a Republican candidate for any elective office with the possible exception of local elections. Palin's aspirations of greatness on the national level as an elected office holder are pure fantasy. She has proven through her own behavior that she is inept.
- NO DOUBT... the rationale Palin used to justify quitting as governor is similar to the rationale she used each and every time she quit a college to go to another--until she finally finished 5 to 6 schools later with a C --perhaps she got the grade because everyone was tired of her educational musical chairs and just like illiterate and bothersome hs student--they just passed her to be done with her once and for all.
One thing is certain--no way did Palin pass debate or speech class--she cannot carry a cohesive thought or present an intelligent argument. Bet it was painful as hell to be in any class where she actually had to know and answer and say it out loud. Especially if she had to explain or justify her answer. LOL - Reply to this comment
- Quitting to take a higher job in government is very different to quitting in the middle of a term because one is bogged down in investigations and ethics complaints--what higher job in government is Sarah quitting to take? Americans condone quitting to take a higher job recognizing that a politician is not quitting per se as he or she is moving into higher levels of government. Palin is not moving into higher levels of government--she has no job lined up to go to.

- BS! Obama did NOT quit in the middle of his first term.
The ONLY public term of office SP completed was as mayor of a town of 9,000... and she quit that job when she bankrupted the town! - Reply to this comment
- When the going got tough, Palin quit. The people of Alaska aren't giving her the deference she wants, so she quit. She got "a better offer", so she quit.
Does anybody believe this quitter will ever be qualified to be president? Only the truly deranged could possibly think so!
"Buh bye", to the Witch of Wasilla! - Reply to this comment

- NO, she'll never be qualified to be president, because she's not interested in improving herself in order to do a better job for others!
She's only interested in how she can 'con' the public to increase her own wealth! That's a huge difference!
But, she'll NEVER fully go away! Not as long as there's a group of 17-21% of the population that will 'pony over a dollar' to listen to her meandering hate message(s)! They love it! And, she'll give it to them!

- The people in flyover country are getting tired of the political elite. We're seeing vitreol about Palin because the left is afraid, very afraid. The current whining about her "quitting" is exactly what Obama did, and he was a senator. People see right through the double standard.

Obama was ELECTED PRESIDENT OF THE USA>>. get that straight...You must be a wing-nut.
Appears she just can not tell the truth about anything.
More so, she doesn't even recognize that she is a flat out pathological lire.
- Obama was elected President, which is a promotion. Palin lost the election and found a reason, though many are still unsure what it is, to resign. In case you are still unclear on the issue, Promotion-Good, Resign-Bad.
- Obama ran for POTUS while in office as a Senator and left that office when he was sworn in as President. There is a huge difference between leaving one office because you have been elected to a higher one and simply "LEAVING" office.
If you want to criticize what Obama did, then you have to equally criticize everyone else who has run for done the same and there are MANY, both Democrat and Republican.
There IS no double-standard, except the one in your mind.
And no one is "afraid" of Palin, most people simply think she's a joke and a lightweight.
- The absolute ONLY way I'm "scared" of Silly Sarah is that her hate-filled, negative, and inciting rhetoric and behavior will truly be the cause of someone being physically hurt. Otherwise, it's hard to be "scared" of someone who's not even worthy of recognition.
- To fred-mertz:
Good luck, friend! I'm not spending as much of my time trying to explain the differences in situations that some people like to equate as the same!
IF you want to try to explain it to some of these dullards, more power to you...but honestly, some of them ARE incapable of understanding!
- You are right! We in middle "flyover" America are also tired of being ignored by the political elite and tired of the states with the high populations getting all of the money and the attention from the federal government. That is another reason that I support Palin. She is a "country girl" from a small town and she knows about life in a small town. She knows that the small towns and the states with small populations often get ignored and passed over when it comes to federal funding.
- You're right about the double standard, too. I've been saying it all along. Whenever a democrat or someone from the liberal left does something wrong nothing much is said about it or they're praised for it! When a conservative republican does the same thing, the liberal left jumps on them and the liberal media smears their name all over every news channel in the country, every newspaper, and the internet!
- fred-mertz, as a obama apologist, your hypocrisy is hilarious.
Please explained why he won't finished his term before running for the presidency? I'm sure he got a calendar and can figured out when his term ends and when is the next presidential election is.
Could it be because he put his narcissistic wants before the people of Illinois? He wasn't forced out by any entities and barely show up to vote presents.
barrack quit the Senate, that makes him a quitter no matter how you want to spin it.
- How could the 'left' (or anyone else for that matter) feel "the left is afraid, very afraid" of this quitter!! hdc77494, what on earth are you smoking? She's a joke and most of us know it! And by the way, I'm NOT on the left! SHE is the main reason McCain lost in Nov.!
- sorry, countrygirl.. it appears you dont read much. sarah palin was running alaska--- a welfare state!!! they pay almost nothing into the country by way of federal taxes while getting way more back than their share in pork dollars!! why don't you go read a book or something? per person, alaska receives way more than any other state in the whole U.S. how is that right when alaskans get back at least a 1000 dollar check every year for doing nothing? why dont they use that money to fund their own programs instead of using the federal government and the tax dollars from populated states as welfare?
- BS! Obama did NOT quit in the middle of his first term.
- I don't think her political career has anything to do with it. Surely by now she realizes she doesn't stand a chance running for President. It appears she resigned once she had the multi-million dollar book deal signed. I wonder what her publishers are thinking NOW? Like maybe they over-estimated her? A stressed-out pit bull does not a good politician make, nor does she warrant the kind of money they're paying her for her book... one that she will surely not even write by herself and will be mostly fiction anyway!

- She has quit every role she's ever had so none of this should be a surprise.
She quit the city council to run for mayor.
She quit in her second term as mayor to run for lt. governor and lost
She quit the oil and gas commission ethics board
Now she quits as Gov.
She fought hard for the current ethics law and pleaded with all Alaskans to hold her accountable.
Now she wants the law changed and says it doesn't work. And complains when people hold her accountable.
She complains about owing 500k in legal bills but SarahPac already went on the record stating they paid all her legal bills.
Wasilla was only 5k population when she was mayor and debt free....she left them 20 million in the hole.
Trust me most of in alaska are thrilled she is leaving - regardless of why.
the tangled web she weaves.
- Fiction is right! IF the publisher markets it as non-fiction, autobiography, they ought to be sued by someone!
To SME131:
Well, she represents the "new" breed Christian Conservative Politician--- all 'blow', and NO 'KNOW'! Break the bank, and leave a shattered economy in their wake! God bless'em, right?!
- It was reported today that Palin's political action committee has collected over $740,000 in donations in the last five months with over $200,000 coming in the last two months. I think that's a pretty good sign that she's planning a run for the presidency in 2012. It's also a pretty good sign that there are still many people, like me, who support her.
- She has quit every role she's ever had so none of this should be a surprise.

- Frankly I don't give a sheet what a freaking CBS poll shows...a new stations that feels a tingle down their leg and then posts a poll...
CBS NOBODY FREAKING BELIEVES YOU ANYMORE....FREAKS!
- The truth is probably a little of each.
Palin can't function as a governor if she have to constantly fighting nuisance lawsuits.
The libs think she should hang on to collect her paycheck while can't effectively do her job says a lot about where they coming from.
- um, rowdy - the "tingle down their leg" comment you endlessly, needlessly and nonsensically post was made by Chris Matthews, who works for MSNBC, not CBS. So you're post, as usual, is nonsense.
- by o_the_potus July 14, 2009 1:18 PM EDT
They left out the "don't give a flip about this ditsy airhead" category.
------------------------------------
For someone that they "don't give a flip" about, the libs sure contributes a lot of time to her. Hypocrite.
- Her words and actions since being nominated as vice president have been a complete failure.
But she'll make millions trolling along with the radical right wing neocon nutjob media ranters.
- "Palin can't function as a governor if she have to constantly fighting nuisance lawsuits.

right.. and bush should use that excuse to explain why he wasnt a good president. "the libs were after me". PUULLLEAAASSEEE!! if one can't stand the political heat, then they must get out of the kitchen!
Just like Palin did. when the going got tough, she folded. imagine her trying to be president. even clinton was going through all kinds of crap and still ran the COUNTRY!! she can't even run alaska after a few lil ethics claims. what would she have done if we were facing war with north korea and china? run when it got too tough? better question? would if kim jong il insulted her kids? waahhh waaahhh waaahhhh ... cry like a stupid little baby cause she doesn't know how to play in the big leagues.
that's why she's being returned to the minors.
