it really makes one wonder if all the millions of emails that conveniently went "missing" from the Bush-Cheney administration are tied to the torture and counter-terrorism programs. i'd like to think that i should give them the benefit of the doubt, but it's becoming increasingly evident that there was a plenty of covering up going on.

"it's still early since this story broke, but i find it interesting that Cheney is nowhere to be heard or seen."

Perhaps he's crying from a secure location.

despite my past support of the GOP, excluding both Bush-Cheney terms, i am deeply concerned about what other b.s. transpired besides torture and concealing critical counter-terrorism activities. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales and CIA Director Hayden are increasingly complicit with this nonsense.

Said GOP dimwit Sessions,"We only appoint special prosecutors for important things, such as who is getting blow jobs and are they being forthright about them."

Yes Rubeem, it has been clearly reported IN THE MEDIA that the CIA programs Mr. Cheney allegedly kept secret were not fully implemented -- though things DID indeed go beyond only discussion as you erroneously state.

However, if when you were using the media (unless you ARE a principal in the matter)to get your information... you read a bit further, you realize that the program itself is what those involved have said should have been revealed.

And -- it really isn't about "blaming the other party". It just so happens that another party is currently in power. I would guess that even if the current administration was Republican these issues would be under consideration for at least, investigation. It that little "we the people" thing that dogs 'em every time.

"The dems treat us all like a bunch of cows with no brains at all. But even cows learn something after many repeated lessons."

That's called conditioning. Cows can't 'learn', they can be 'conditioned' to react to certain stimuli.

Fox News is fair and balanced, Fox News is fair and balanced, Fox News is fair and balanced...

How's that working for you?

Yup...just like Pavlov's dog...btw, how's the violation of the geneva convention punishment working out for the opposition? Oh wait...they don't play by the rules either...(Daniel Pearl)just like North Korea

Let's fix some of the more "boring" problems we face now first. Like people having jobs and affordable health care and [my personal favorite]... a decent education so some of the lamed brain people who post comments may actually learn how to think and reason instead of just feel-as-they-blindly-repeat-things-they-do-not-comprehend.

The time will come when the malfeasance of the Bush Administration will be such a huge "sore on America's ..." it will have to be popped.

I don't think it'll be fifty years... by any means. Maybe fifty weeks, especially as more and more information is gathered...let's see.

Most of the investigations of Clinton were while he was in office - -not blaming "the other party" for his wrong-doings. Then later investigations were all done with a Dem majority, so of course went nowhere. Dems are still trying to blame the previous administration for the present demise of the country - - digging up anything and everything with a left twist to divert attention to the present state of affairs. The CIA issue that is being dwelt on has been said by those involved - - but not expounded upon by the media - - was an idea that never amounted to anything but some discussion - - nothing implemented.

According to Jeff sessions, a torture prosecutor is unnecessary. If they didn't do anything unseemly, they've surely got nothing to hide.
