Anyone read the history of ancient Rome recently, or watched it on the History Channel? There is no such thing as a "Christian" country: there are only people who are Christians and as such are (supposed to) follow the Lord in a manner pleasing to Him. Why such an outcry against those who cheat, whoever they are? What kind of movies and TV shows do you watch? What kind of magazines do you read? Look at all the hype about so-called celebrities--that isn't news, it's nonsense. Where are the real stories about people who are struggling to make ends meet and about the criminals who prey on the weak? Where are the stories about true justice and rights defended properly? I do not believe that most Americans want nonsense media reporting. They are also angry that they have lost so much money to rich corporations who care nothing for the American people. If you want honest representatives, be honest yourselves!

Just so I am clear, the all knowing, all powerful god that these hypocrites believe in made a mistake? Is that it? Because I'm pretty sure when disgraceful cretins like Ensign and Coburn are trying to pass judgement on everyone else, they say god is infallible. That's right, isn't it, infallible? As in, god can't make mistakes. But now that it an infallible god is inconvenient, Ensign says god did make a mistake regarding Ensign's having an affair with a staffer.

Ensign needs to resign today. He should take his enabler Coburn with him.

There is even a passage which states that the wives of those Republican politicians must be supportive of their husbands, no matter how many times they cheat.

Sorry, but they don't drip drip out this info to help the person. You forget that the general public has the memory of the average fruit fly. You have to repeatedly remind them over and over and over that the good senator is an adulterer before they get the message. And even then, fully 1/3 of the general public (the republicans) will still vote for them!!!

Obviously Tom Coburn was too stupid and ignorant of the USUAL way that you get an adulterer to stop doing it, as once he found out about the affair he did not tell John Ensign that if he didn't stop it immediately, tell his wife, and confess to the public, that Tom would do it for him. Darlene was totally screwed over by all those business associates AKA intermediaries who tried to get him to stop, yet kept knowledge of the affair from her.

So here's a lesson for all you single women out there who think that marriage to some conservative Republican spouting family values is a great deal. If your hubby ever goes astray, rest assured that none of his buddies and their wives will lift a finger to help you, they will side with your hubby against you, and watch while you are made a fool of.
