Many THANKS To Chip Reid and Helen Thomas!

Is the press finally beginning to awaken from their Obama campaign stupor? A biased press is a problem - a silenced press is alarming. Where is the transparency we were promised? The control the White House has been exercising is beginning to make McCarthyism look like child's play.

Amazing job Chip & Helen...all administrations try thier best to control the media, Obama is just better than most.

Start to realize that Dem's and Repub's are just part of the same game. Neither cares about you, just your vote and your control.

Slaves gave 100% to thier masters, and they knew they were slaves. We give 50% (from one form of taxation or another) to the masters and we think that we are fre. The slaves that think they are free are easier to keep in line.

What the clip didn't show, and can be seen in its entirety on utube, is where Chip asks Gibbs if Obama is going to back out of a campaign pledge and okay a middle class tax increase. In the whole clip, Gibbs smugly reply's to Chip by telling him to email Obama.

I just watched the 7/2 White House Press Conference. Neither Chip or Helen were called upon by Gibbs as promised yesterday. What a shock.

Anyone who thinks these "town hall meetings" are TRULLY OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, obviously believes in the Tooth Fairy and Easter Bunny!

When's the last time you saw a homeless person make it into a "town hall meeting"? You think "Joe, the Plumber" was an average "Joe"? The guy was a GOP "plant" to make McBush more "likeable" to the working class!!!

Besides, I'm still waiting to see ANY POLITICIAN, Democrat, Republican, or whatever, risk his/her neck and visit an UNEMPLOYMENT OFFICE!!!! Politicians treat unemployment offices like "leper colonies" even though the unemployed pay taxes and VOTE TOO!!!!!

So much for FAIRNESS and OPENNESS from Washington!!!

HAIL OBAMA??????

Yes! Great point! Awesome point! Brilliant! Since the economy tanked under Bush. Makes great sense! And to other points, Bush did like 3 telivised speechs in 8 years because 1)he sucked so bad at presenting information and 2)could not think on his feet without screwing up the republican message. So, when he did press, IT WAS ALL PRESCREENED. He didn't do public questions. Brilliant points, nutjobs!

Way to go Chip and Helen!! It's about time the media is waking up to the fact that journalistic integrity has been barred from the White House. I applaud their gumption (as my grandmother used to say) to ask the difficult, yet obvious, questions!! Keep it up--hopefully the rest will follow suit!

Sorry. Wrestling gets higher ratings than FOX Noise. Both programs are equally believeable.

People who are knowledgeable, get their information directly from a source. Not from a propaganda outlet, like FOX Noise.
