Obama probably liked Michael Jackson better when he was still black. Also, his lifestyle does not seem to have fit well with the Muslim lifestyle.

Maybe if Jackson was a muslim extremist terrorist, Obama would have most likely give a speech about mutual respect for him, etc....as exhibited by the recent "hate america" and terrorist appeasement tour.

So Obama may take another page from Jimmy Carters playbook again. Lets hope so, one term is about all we can afford. Jimmy was not that bad afterall.

blog_fever2 You sir, are either an idiot or a hypocrite. First, you tell grabandgo to stop judging people - then, you judge Farrah and Ed as being not equal to MJ, even when combined.
The fact of the matter is, when MJ stands before God, God is not going to be one bit impressed with the fact that he was a pop star!

Sorry, but there is no God so if MJ was guilty of pedophilia, he's beaten the rap... In any case, I remember that the mother and the kid were completely discredited during the 2005 trial
by blog_fever2 June 26, 2009 7:01 PM EDT
First of all, I was stating the obvious point that MJ's coverage was because he was more popular (iconic was what I used) than the other two celebrities that passed. Secondly, you and I both know you are in no position to say what God will be impressed with. If you have nothing nice to say, keep your mouth closed son.

From what I have read here, a lot of people should be worried about how they will judged as well. Everything seems to come down to differences any more. We are ALL people; whites and blacks, Democrats and Republicans. We ALL will be judged not only by our actions but by our words as well.
by nolies74621 June 29, 2009 6:23 AM EDT
Hey did'nt you hear? Since the Liberals control 90% of the media it is acceptable to be a pedophile and drug addict and still be cannonized as someone that had a positive influence on society. Except maybe if the little boys that where abused had anything to say about it which I doubt would have any influence on many of the star struck morons that believe Michael Jackson was a hero.

Michael Jackson was never convicted of child molestation.

Just as Bill Ayers was never convicted of murder.

Surely, 'the one' will speak as soon as the TOTUS is set up. ;-)

40 years ago Teddy got away with killing Mary Jo. He is still in the senate. Democrat if I recall.

He was charged with child molestation in 2005.

I don't that the White House should respond to this at all. If the President is asked during a press conference of some sort, then I would expect him to give a brief response from a personal perspective. Nothing more.

He who is without sin cast the first stone. You really need to stop judging people. Farrah Fawcett and Ed McMahon combined together still can't compare to Micheal Jackson

What about Farrah Fawcett and Ed McMahon.
These are 2 great people that passed away that deserve a comment.
Who really cares about a child molester.

MJ was no better or worse then any of us. he had a gift, a talent. obama should make a comment if he has the ability to make a decision based on his brain power and not his white house advisors.

Even more important, what, or when will the President hold a news conference and address the Divorce of Jon and Kate????

WTCMEDIC911 posted - "MJ was no better or worse then any of us." Are you nuts? This man was pedophile for god sakes! That kind of attitude is why most pedophiles are able to molest multiple children before they ever get caught. Just like the Catholic priests who molested children. Often many adults knew they were doing it but either denied it could be happening or decided who were they judge. Unless you are talking about Michael Jordan, MJ was a lot worse than anyone I know.
by realetybytes June 26, 2009 2:21 PM EDT
You are absolutely right, and to the morally bankrupt poster wtcmedic911, if you are no better then this disgusting drug-addled pedophile, I pity you, but if you told me I was in the same class as this freak to my face, you would find out another difference- I don't play games with little boys!
by Citfiedgirl June 26, 2009 5:22 PM EDT
Child molester? Well let's start with Ed McMahon, who has been accused of ripping people off with Publisher's Clearing house, mafia connections, and running up tremendous amounts of debt. And lets move to Farrah Fawcett who had a drug addiction problem herself, and posed in Playboy? Let's be for real. They all have a sob story. Michael Jackson did more for humanity than either of the other two celebrities combined. Michael Jackson opened doors for Blacks and brought all races of people together. But "your" celebrity better have a clean record before you go throwing stones. I have never seen Farrah or Ed fighting for Black entertainers back in the day. Especially Ed, in his heyday when things were segregated.I liked Farrah too, but she wasn't a saint either.Leave Michael alone and let him Rest in Peace!!

Wow...it's amazing to me that it's always so easy for us to be extremely critical of others when their troubles are exposed and whenever we end up in predicaments of our own whether great or small, we expect that others should be understanding and non-judgmental. There's an old saying - "Kids can be cruel." Obviously, it's not only the kids that can be cruel. Kids don't know any better. What's the excuse for fully grown adults? There's always more than one side to a story. As we have come to find out over the years, A lot of what we see, hear, and read from the media is fluff for ratings, career boosts, and to make magazines sell. We've heard time & time again from countless celebrities that things printed were just not true or grossly exaggerated. I don't know whether or not he was innocent or guilty because I wasn't there and neither was the rest of the world, so it's not for us to judge. That was the judge and the jury's job. Right now, it's time to think about the 3 children that were left behind. If he was as good of a father as "they" say he was - there lives are devastated right now. Think about that if you have a heart.
