- You are right and you better just accept it. Socialism is here to stay. Obama is going to make the Republican fat cats take care of us and our needs. Nobody but Obama and his political elite wil get to live a lavish lifestyle. But he deserves it for saving us from the claws of capitalism. He is going to prove that the failure of the Soviet Union was one of leadership and that socialism can work. He is the incarnation of Marx and Lenin.

- erasmus, No I did'nt see any Kools either, he is a closet smoker. As far as the name it is that cold menthol ,thus the name Kool I suppose.

- Lets face it America, you need this bill. I know that the tobacco companies have been adding harmful things to cigarettes to make them more addictive. In fact, I too found it hard to quit. The fact is, most of you are not skinny like me and you can't seem to make the right decisions about smoking, food, sex or alcohol. That is why it is so important that I remove these things from your life. Yes, I will still have access to them, just you won't. Next up on my agenda; limiting the number of hamburgers you can order and the amount of booze you can buy. Remember, I am doing it for your own good.

What's a known fact? That he smokes? I know that.
And no, I don't have a any "Kools". I don't smoke anymore. And what the hell kinda name is that for cigarettes, anyways?

- Change we can believe in, this is the new eutopian socoiety where government can now finally control every apsect of our lives, decide what business's should fail and which are too big, decide what wages we should earn, decide what is good and what is bad for us, decide which doctor we should see and how long we can wait, decide what we eat drink and wear, decide what's best for our children, heck we don't have to do anything anymore thanks to our new progressive society and it's cult like followers.

- I could care less about this bunch of more goverment control right now. This is just more distraction to take the heat off the 3 million jobs he was creating, that are not going to happen unless they are all goverment jobs.

Just like a good little Phillips Morris sheepy. Do you really think that at this point, when you light a smoke, you are making a sound decision to do so? If you do...well you have made the cig company that you bow down to everyday veru proud indeed. You see...they have taken your choice away by impregnating their product with a chemistry that is more addictive than heroin. You have been chemically roped into thinking you are making an adult decision...when in fact sound minded adults don't usually decide to shorten their lives...by means of a slow acting and painful demise while at the same time endangering all those down wind of them. That is supposed to be your decision? Well...the rest of us have every right to protect ourselves from you and your "decisions".

- I for one support the bill, and I am a long time smoker, who hates it and what it does to others. Period. Now I would love to see a bill directed at parents and others who smoke in a vehicle when children are 'held hostage' to this carnage. For instance, I went to the post office the other day, and the two adults in the front seat were smoking, and four little children were trapped in the back seat. I was parked next to them, and I opened my door and was blown away from the stench and smoke that hit me as I opened the door. I looked at the children in the back seat, and there 'eyes' cried 'help us'. Congress, protect our children. And to listen to Volsstimme because he does not speak for all of us, even though I respect his thoughts.

- Having lost relatives to lung cancer due to smoking started as a child I find this comment disgusting. As adults, we must do all we can to protect those too young to make an intelligent choice.
- It is amazing to me how you can possibly be so incredibly ignorant. First off Congress created this bill to protect America and decrease the high costs due to smoking. Secondly, Obama only signed the bill because he understands what is at stake if action is not taken. It is one thing to express your opinion but another to even make a comparison to Hitler.
