- I believe the republicans did a fine job with Gitmo Prisoners. Few of them have been able to attack us again.
Now Barry wants to move them to an island in the South Pacific, Guam, and pay millions to do it. Uh, can we use the money here at home instead, Barry ? Let the pigs in gitmo drop dead in place for all I care. - Reply to this comment
- Your typical liberal speak for, "I don't know anything. I need to bash someone that I think is at fault, so I'll make up a stupid story."

- Hilarious. People all over this nation have dangerous murderers and rapists sitting in prisons in "their backyard".
How are these people from Guantanamo any different?
McCain continues to look stupid... - Reply to this comment

- near as i can tell, it is primarily the fear-mongering politicians that don't want the detainees in their states. by being vocal about their refusal to accept them, they continue to breed fear throughout the general public. how about if the have the courage (and intelligence) to say that they have complete confidence in our military and justice systems to work out arrangement for these men that are safe and secure?
why on earth would we ask our friends and allies to accept prisoners that we are unwilling or unable to take care of ourselves? - Reply to this comment
- More pandering to irrational hysteria. We already have thousands of dangerous people in high security prisons in the US, including at least 200 with terrorism connections. Even a maximum security military prison in the middle of an Army base is apparently a problem for many of our "home of the brave" citizens.
Any high security prison that cannot safely hold Gitmo detainees should have their prisoners, and their jobs, moved to someplace that can. - Reply to this comment
- SEE WHY I DON'T "VOTE" AT ALL?? I QUIT "VOTING" AFTER THE 1964 FIASCO, WHEREIN LBJ "WON" THE ELECTION BY STATING "I WILL NOT SEND OUR BOYS 6,000 MILES TO FIGHT A WAR", etc, etc., and on and on. Of course, he was already sending them, and had been for almost a year, after JFK was killed. I haven't heard anything better for 45 years now, and overall political conditions have deteriorated incredibly since then, so I will will likely never vote again...really..who cares? It's time to move out of this country; half moronic lefties who want a free ride and the other half bible morons with low IQ's.

- "Unwillingness To Take Guantanamo Inmates Is Telling"
Yes it is, it's telling how stupid we Americans can be, we have some of the most depraved animals on the planet in our prisons, serial killers, multiple child rapists, CANNIBALS, but we're terrified to accept a few un-educated foreign zealots into our most secure prisons. Yes sir, it's telling alright, it tells the world how stupid we are. - Reply to this comment
- President Obama lives in the White House. I KNOW that really rankles you speakinup22... too bad. The majority had their say and for the most part we are content that he is the man occupying that house. No, we don't all march in some "lockstep" mentality, we just voted for the man we thought would do the best job and Mr. McCain wasn't that choice.
Time will tell.... personally, I have faith in the common sense of our electorate. - Reply to this comment
