I just got done reading an article about how the "conservative" Christian right is opposed to expanding hate crime protection to gays and lesbians.

These people, these so-called "Republicans," are sick.

So, Ensign will be fine - remember Newt Gingrinch admitted cheating on both of his first 2 wives, and he's considered a front-runner for the GOP/Family Values Party in 2012.

Yes and this is the same newt that was banging his secretary while pointing his finger at Clinton at the same time and spouting morals.

The gop just don't get it, never throw stones in a glass house.

Senator Ensign's apology is suspect at best. He stated that the affair was about a year ago. Did it take him so long to 'man-up' to the public, or did it take that long to figure out his political career might be in jeopardy? As far as constituents are concerned, it's contributions and votes -- nothing else.

The party of family values, my butt. I think I'll seek out Sarah Palin for advice on how to raise my daughter and how to drag her through the mud some more just to get some more free T.V. exposure. What a train wreck.

Nobody said Clinton cheating on his wife was okay... were you on another planet?

What many people including Democrats had issue with was the Republican reaction that made an initial bad action-that-should-have-remained-within-the-marriage-to-deal-with into an impeachable offense.

So, now whenever a Republican breaks a marriage vow they HAVE to "fess up" ... or they may also be railroaded into prevarication and have to face a far worse inquisition than that of a betrayed spouse.

If his wife knew about it a year ago and they worked through it why is he coming forward now, to clean up his record to run for President, or did the waif say she was going to the press. Why bring it out after a year and all in the family is hunky dory about it, got it all worked out. After all it is between his family something is fishy here.

Spitzer resigned. Won't the "Morality Party" demand an even stronger punishment for it's own "Sinner!"

Ok, so he made a mistake . . . but unlike his Democrat liberal buddy he didn't drive her into the water then run off and let her die. You need to keep things in perspective.

Re your Letterman comment - there was only 1 daughter with Palin at the baseball game so that must have been the one he was talking about. He should get his facts straight before he tells a lame joke. It was not funny and if he made that joke about your daughter you probably would be upset also

You tap dance, Craig, who Ensign called a disgrace when he was playing around at the time, if they are not trying to get pages, they are cheating, and Vitter is the biggest hypocrite ever Newt Gingrich what a joke they should just shut there mouths and sit in a dark corner and be seen and not heard.the whole party is a disgrace

I don't think it's just Republicans. The last I heard, John Kennedy, Bill Clinton and John Edwards (to name just a few) were Democrats.

How many small minded uneducated people voted for them because they were PROMISED bigotry and hatred for people who committed such acts? When you look at what this piece of human slime has said and done in response to the conduct of OTHERS doing like things, it turns the stomach. I didn't vote for anyone because of those reasons and didn't expect them to control the actions of others, thus my votes for the people you listed was given to them NOT for their commitment to "Moral Values" but their commitment to make POLICY Changes in our Government that made a difference in MY life. I will deal with MY FAMILIES Values and I do NOT need a slime dog like this to assist me... thank YOU!

Now let's see. Bill Clinton cheated on his wife with an intern. And all the Democrats said it's OK.

This is different.......how?

He didn't inhale and John Edwards didn't either...

I don't know any Democrats who said its OK. I know many, such as myself, who felt that we the public had no right to spend $70 million in tax money placing ourselves into his bedroom. I felt soiled, and NOT by Bill Clinton. He deserved a reprimand, he WAS impeached. And all the while, Gingrich, while impeaching him, was bonging his secretary and getting up the backbone to tell his cancer stricken wife he was abandoning her. What punishment befell HIM, BTW?

And God knows what Larry Craig was up to...

When did Bill Clinton go around pandering to the Radical Religious Nuts? When did Bill Clinton go around trying to put Amendments in our Constitution on Marriage! There comes a point when you will either accept the total failure of the Party of Family Values or you WILL continue to live with the results.

IT'S DIFFERENT BECAUSE THIS REPUKELICON IS A MEMBER OF THE FASCIST RELIGIOUS RIGHT WING OF THE AMERICAN TALIBAN CLUB. HE IS ANTI-AMERICAN LIKE ALL THE RADICALS!

BILL CLINTON LEFT A SURPLUS FOR THIS NATION WHICH THE RAD RIGHT USED UP AND THEN LEFT THIS COUNTRY WITH THE WORST ECONOMIC MESS SINCE THE GREAT DEPRESSION WHILE FIGHTING TWO WORTHLESS WARS.

OUR GOVERNMENT NEEDS TO FIGHT AND JAIL THE RADICAL REICH WHO ARE CALLING FOR REVOLUTIONS IN AMERICA!!!

HOW PLAIN CAN IT BE THAT THE REPUKELICONS ARE WHITE TRASH!!!
