start hearings just as soon as the last execution of the slime who voted for spending or any bill, without having read it.

Which Senator will be FIRST to ask her about her membership in the ultra RACIST group, LaRaza?

That ALONE should disqualify the biotch...

So, what else is new with the scum in Washington? Reid was right for once in his life tho'.."there's something wrong"; sure is. The thing that's wrong is Soto-whats her face is a bald-face racist, using her own recorded statements, and Reid and the rest of the low-lifes want her confirmed before anyone else catches on to it. By the way, how are the rest of the "cabinet" tax cheats doing these days?

let's see - we pushed thru the largest spending bill in the history of the free world WITHOUT reading it: perhaps we should slow down and get the process done correct.

Boo hoo. Congresspeople might actually have to work. But you know what? I bet that this is a plot by the Democrats to push Sotomayor through the confirmation process, even though she's bin Ladens's Hispanic half-sister. Yeah, that's the ticket... Do you right-wingers ever take a couple of minutes to actually listen to yourselves?

When will the discerning, thinking Americans, finally say that enough is enough. Artificially creating "crisis deadlines" to ramrod through legislation and appointments without adequate vetting, discussion, and analysis, and in the case of the largest legislation package in history, NOT PROVIDING sufficient time to even READ IT, should make rational people stand up and say, "What the hell is going on here???" Has sanity and prudence, not to mention maturity been abandoned in this headlong rush to turn this nation UPSIDE DOWN??!!

We've had enough of Obama's Go Speed Racer mentality to last us the next four years if we survive the first one. The dems keep trying to make repubs a speedbump as they careen through our money, our constitution, our country. Sonia needs lots of vetting. She is a wild card and a wild-haired Latina and we probably do not need her experiences one bit on the court. There is NO RUSH here, and there's NO RUSH on his health care deal that has to happen NOW OR NEVER. NEVER is our goal. We don't want rationed health care or community organizer doctors.

I used to be a Democrat before it was take over by unethical, racist Socialists. Heaven help this country. The Republicans don't know what hit them and the more Deocrats rush things the more the Republicans stay in a state of shock.

The only `attack' on her character were simply reasonable reactions to HER oft-repeated BIGOTRY. But hey, being `Latina', she is given a free pass to be a bigot, right?

Its time to stop obama, reid and peloski. We have had all the pass pass pass these bills the United States of America can stand. The democrats shoved through ARRA(America Rape and Reaping Act) and look what it got the taxpayers. We have had all of the obama incompetentce we can stand. reid and peloski should both RESIGN their postions for allowing, abetting and encouraging the RAPE of the taxpayers with the ACORN-obama,dodd,frank, reid, peloski housing scandal, the schummmmmmer-banking scandal and the Geithner-obama auto industry scandel.
Stop the train folks and if it takes until December to properly vett a nominee then so be it. obama wasn't vetted in 2 years and look what we got , a real loser that is stealing our great grand childrens liberty, life and freedom.

Leahy, Reid & cronies are as cynical as they come. They assume that the American public's memory is so shallow and short that no one will remember the pathetic, underhanded and unethical tactics they have resorted to in trying to derail every Supreme Court nomination offered by Republicans since 1980. I not surprised that they are balking at the idea of evaluating a nominee on his or her merits--merit certainly was never a criterium when a Republican made the nomination: Bork. Thomas. Scalia. Miers. Alito. Not to mention Estrada, Pickering, etc. So now the Democrats assume that they can turn the tables without the American public noticing. Sadly, their assumptions probably are justified.

Reid and Leahy will do anything they can to get this nominee past the American public, before her record of racism and radical views can be fully revealed. Typical Washington maneuvering.

I love how the Democrats want to push thru a racist and sexist judge.

No longer can they claim that conservatives are racist. This is proof who the real racists are.

Democratic Committee Chairman Pat Leahy and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid fail to realize is that there is not a vacancy on the bench, as what happened with CJ Rehnquist's untimely death and resulting in speedy, but incisive hearings and deliberations for CJ Roberts.

I must respectfully disagree with the resons cited by both gentlemen, simply because it is up to the whole senate to advise and consent, not just a party or a committee.
