The reason there are no jobs out there is because:

1. Employers are refusing to hire because they see the economy is still shaky and could fall thru the floor at any moment, so they are making do with what they have AND,

2. They are sending any jobs straight to India and China, NOT HIRING HERE!!! This is going to happen even if and when the economy improves!!!!

What is needed is a HEAVY government penalty levied on ANY company that exports jobs. There should be NO exceptions, and NO loopholes. It should take the form of a SURTAX based on wages lost due to "FREE TRADE" and should NOT BE PASSED ON TO THE CONSUMER!!!

Every job lost to India and China means that it will take that much longer for the economy to recover, it means LESS TAX REVENUE headed for Washington, it means LESS SOCIAL SECURITY for the retirement fund, and less money collected for MEDICARE.

Let Corporate America it WON't be saving money by sending jobs to China and India and if it tries, it will pay a BIG TAX that eats into any corporate profits and makes them realize it would be cheaper for them to keep the jobs HERE.

If Corporate America doesn't like it, have THEM move to India or China or Dubai along qwith all the Neocon Fascist Nazi Republicans who caused all this!!!

We will be paying the piper tenfold with inflation due to the debt and the drop in the dollar. This should have gone to shovel ready projects not questionable rail projects that may not be productive for 8-10 years. But shovel ready projects rebuilding the infrastructure was less than 9% of the total. To Obama a job is if a person digs a hole and fills it in. But we need productive jobs not waste. Productive jobs that build and fix. But much of this $787 billion will not hit for years. Joe Biden is clueless. So we could have spent 10% of the amount with the same results. We bailed out the automakers because of the UAW. The market cap of GM is now less than Harley Davidson. Is it still too big to fail? Penske buys Saturn and has a good shot at making a car that people will want, and afford. This is how it works. Paying back the UAW for their support is not the answer to our problems as the automakers will continually need to be bailed out. What happens when all companies are non profits and everyone either works for the govt or is beholding to it? Who will pay for the bills then. Is it 2012 yet so we can vote him out.

Unemployment continues to rise, and with GM's and Chrysler's bankruptcies it will likely keep rising further. Not just them, but parts suppliers, dealers, subcontractors, etc. will all be affected.

And when companies do rehire, they'll likely to do so in another country, not the U.S. No president, Republican or Democrat, can do anything to change this. Thank you globalization and "free trade".

Well Mr President, I am on Social Security, my wife is not eligible. BUT we wants to thank you soooo much for that whole $250.00 stimulus you sent us. It didn't quite pay for the parts, let alone installation on our car. We had to borrow some more mone. Now we are further in debt than we were before. Wish we was rich executives, then I could have gotten a couple of million and really started us a new life time. You are giving all these wealthy people tons of monies and leaving the Americans to try just to survive. I voted for you, and you and you compratiots act like Prince John and the Sheriff of Nottingham. Take from the poor and give to the rich. YOU DEFINITELY AINT NO ROBIN HOOD!! Your day will come.
