- Never seen so much hate from both the left and right. For those of you who feel our elected officials has done us wrong again, I say get off your butts and do something about it, get involved even at community level, but for christ sake, quite all your bickering about everything. Like they say, put up or shut up.
And to those of you feel it is necessary to keep repeating yourselves. GET A LIFE!!!! - Reply to this comment
- The "speech centers" of the human brain are located on different hemispheres of the brain depending on handedness (usually).
I think Obama has the speech centers on both sides of his brain, thus enabling him to speak very well. - Reply to this comment
- President Obama continues to prove his personal effectiveness as a leader and receives great respect from the citizens of this nation and many other nations around the world.
President Obama stands for unity, and invites all to give their respect especially in the face of disagreement. So much stoods to be gained if we accept his invitation. So much stoods to be lost if we don't.
Few citizens in this nation compredended the event of Fed Chairman Bernarke in 2008 when he delivered the biggest shockwave about the US banking system being on the brink of failure. Without the bailout, capitalism would have ended. We came so close. It wasn't a popular message, but it was the truth.
President Obama is committed to a healthy banking system for this nation and the survival of capitalism. He wants citizens to see past their own noses and face down the national challenge to compete effectively in the world or global economy.
There are no shortages of voices telling citizens there is an easier way, but only the Democratic party will say the truth and never mislead citizens into believing anything worthwhile in life is ever easy. - Reply to this comment

Just why would Reagan need a jock strap when there was nothing there to support.... - Reply to this comment
- So many extreme, hate filled comments. Reagan made mistakes, his fault. Clinton did nothing to correct the mistakes, actually in some ways made them worse, his fault. The Bush's? More of the same. Obama has a plan, I hope it works, but if it doesn't we will see the utter collapse of our economy and our country. So no matter your political leanings we all need to support the President and pray to whatever god you worship!

- Nancy, so, Obama is a "lefty" ? What arm did he use to throw out the first pitch in baseball this year?
Okay, that's a trick question.
Of course he's on the left . . . so am I . . . so are all of the people that voted him into office . . . what's wrong with that?
Ronnie was an actor. He played the role of a good president with your help, but God help us, he was not a good politician. - Reply to this comment
- "This bill is the most important legislation for financial institutions in the last 50 years. It provides a long-term solution for troubled thrift institutions. ... All in all, I think we hit the jackpot." So declared Ronald Reagan in 1982, as he signed the Garn-St. Germain Depository Institutions Act.
He was, as it happened, wrong about solving the problems of the thrifts. On the contrary, the bill turned the modest-sized troubles of savings-and-loan institutions into an utter catastrophe. But he was right about the legislation?s significance. And as for that jackpot ? well, it finally came more than 25 years later, in the form of the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression.
For the more one looks into the origins of the current disaster, the clearer it becomes that the key wrong turn ? the turn that made crisis inevitable ? took place in the early 1980s, during the Reagan years...

Uhh...pretty sure she was talking about which hand he uses. Did you even read the effin article?
And the fake conservative George Bush and his cronies already destroyed everything Reagan stood for. Not too sure, but ole' Ronnie probably wouldn't approve of Bush doubling our nation's debt, getting overly involved in foreign affairs, and expanding the size of the Federal Government.

I guess the reference I used for "Bedtime for Bonzo", being Amazon, is a commercial reference, and thus could be considered commercial SPAM (?).
Sorry, I should have used another link, DUH! - Reply to this comment
