What is the big deal? Are you nuts or what? Look at the socialists countries and that is what you want? China - Venezuela - You really want that type of government control?
I guess since the gov't will own GM, there will be economic incentives to buy a GM vehicle....

What's funny is the Republicans would rather focus on labeling the government assistance extended to a vital american industry as socialism, than grapple with the consequences of allowing the U.S. automakers to fail along with the added job lost of about 13 million U.S. jobs in the event of a total failure of the U.S. automakers.

The Republicans are living in a hopelessly regressive fantasy, they still think it should be 1955 and the Russians are going to take over the world!!

Have you noticed all the people that are so worried about socialism are the older "baby boomer" generations? Honestly, what is the big deal? We are already a socialistic society.

Yeah, we'll let you worry about some bizarrely inaccurate poll that won't be relevent for another 3 1/2 years, and you just let the adults worry about the important things at hand.....deal?

We recognize that a socialist society is kind what the slaves had before Linocln freed them. Food, housing, and a Dr came around once a month to check on the women and babies.

We know what it takes to break free, have the best, and lead the world in getting better.

We know that Europe has used this form of society for years and we ALWAYS had things better than they did.

But, our earning days are nearly over, so you guys can do it your way if you want. But you will never have it as good as we did if you go this way. It bothers me that my kids wont get the opportunities I got, that they will be paying of these debts their entire lives, and there is no saving account for the next recession. Oh yeah, recessions happen in socialist Europe too.

I also think we should socialize the banks, medical and pharmaceutical companies and oil companies. Why should the people just own failed right wing companies. We the People can also own successful right wing companies. Why should we give socialist benefits only to the bad companies?

No, it would be socialism if the government had the right to blacklist certain businesses like big business has the right to blacklist certain individuals.

It must be working cuz a recent poll showed that the majority of americans will vote republican next year, so much for that "moverment". Already has a headstone above it.

You must be looking at that same recent poll that lead you to make that ridiculous prediction that the McCain/Palin ticket would win last November....leave the polls to those of us that have an education....LMAO!!!
