IF you would send one my way every so often, you might be able to prove that - - but that hasn't quite been the case today now, has it?

THIS from a twit who thinks atheists "know" that God "loves" them?

Looney tunes........

I did not say God. I said "men of faith." The very first Amendment says that people have the Right of Free Expression of their Religion. This certainly includes elected leaders. They have just as many Rights as the rest of us.

Which changes not the fact that there is a not a single mention of "God" in the Constitution.

Our government was set up to be secular.

Period.

Then my original assumption was correct - English is not a "native" tongue for you or you would understand the word "dogma". ------------------ Posted by formrusmcsgt

IF you weren't such a mean person, you might understand a touch of humor every now-and-then.

I speak Latin, my car speaks Grease, I can read Hebrew upside-down from a distance of 70 meters, I tought my Parrot to speak Dutch with a Russian accident, and I can write the Magna-Carter on the head of pin in Flemish, without coughing once!

Neener, neener, neener!

I addition to English, I speak Japanese and Spanish as well and know more about my second and third languages than you do about your "one and only".

The use of sacred imagery and scripture to dupe the religious right and justify pointless carnage goes back to the Crusades, at least.

Iraq was pure, prefabricated "neo-conmen con-job." Dumbya and Darth controlled the intell. They told us want they wanted to, when they wanted to, lying to us when convenient . Their CIA apparently gave incomplete, erroneous or even NON-EXISTENT briefings to Congress - to the Dems, at least. Former Sen. Bob Graham (D-FL) says the Agency never gave him three of the four briefings they claim they did, which the CIA now acknowledges.

A few Dems "bought in" out of genuine - if misplaced - belief. Some just didn't want to be on the "wrong" side for political reasons.

However, there was a HUGE and vocal contingent of liberal / progressive Dems and others who were leery of Bush, his Machiavellian puppeteer Cheney and the military-industrial complex's stooge, Rumsfeld. We did our best to speak out but were shouted down or ignored by the corporate media - CBS included.

Neither tortured bodies nor tortured logic could produce the retroactive justification these vile men sought for their vile crimes.
