Obama doesn't oppose releasing the pictures, as of yesterday he was determined to release them...

After Nancy Pelosi has been shown to be a total liar, ..

After Chris Dodd has been shown as a total liar...

After Bawney Fwank has been shown to be a total liar...

After much of the democratic legislators have created such a debacle of our country's finances...

I think maybe he's realizing that his little spoiled brat sociopathic degenerate war against republicans just isn't going to work....because the democrats will be prosecuted and taken down also.

Do those who were tortured by our soldiers have any say in this? Is it justice that they have no say? They were treated like animals; now Obama is saying they weren't animals, they were actually muzzled animals.

If a soldiers coffin isn't seen returning to America, did he or she actually die??

If we never see a coffin, we've not suffered any casualties, right?

Why is the news media giving Cheney so much access to the press, who really cares what he says? They are still doing what they did while in office, dividing the country, and God knows we need togetherness more than eve,r but it will not happen till something worse happens than has happenned already. We never do a thing till after the fact

The 'public' has no right to view these photos unless the 'public' is going to take responsibility totally on their shoulders. Whose 'public' are you talking about anyway? Ours, or theirs?

I wonder why we keep talking this out in the news.Stir it up is all ok we need the truth, why can't we let the justice dept do its work and just let it go for a while and then we see where we are.I can only imagine what our troops are thinking, they must just be disgusted about now.I read the other day about our troops not having enough water to drink had to go to contractors and steal it, they were suppose to give it out, why not scream about such things as that. I think it is torture to have men serve so many tours over there, why aren't we screaming about that. We are just falling into the hands of the news competition and I hate it, no one gives a hoot about our troops and what they are going through, just makes me sick . we are worrying about Bush I couldn't care less about Bush or that devil Cheney they have a punishment coming to them lets worry about things that matter, the young men fighting for our country, whose minds and bodies are be stolen daily

Perhaps these disgraceful photographs would "endanger" military personnel; perhaps not. Either way, this factor ought not decide whether citizens have a right to see the images.

I'm disappointed in Obama for taking a position that works against transparency in government.
