- That's okay, guys. We understand your knee-jerk reaction was to jump to your feet in awe as "The One" entered the room. The actions of the media (print and television) has been to play the songs the administration wants played. As Joseph Goebbels once said, ?Think of the press as a great keyboard on which the government can play.?

- Let's see.. Obama is continuing a war he said he would stop, first lie, Bowing to our enemies which would love to make us look like fools or worse, He has antagonized all the free world leaders as an inexperienced and crass president, and to act like a Jackazz, well, those chin up photos make him really look like Stalin. I can go on...

- "Look. Don't blame the reporters for showing our current President some respect.....they're just Americans, after all, And most Americans, found it very difficult to respect the previous president. "

- So, Bush was not liked by a majority of people? He was still elected twice as was Bill Clinton. Clinton, by the way, wanted Saddam Hussein ousted. So, did some other senior Democrats. And, most western leaders believed Saddam had WMD's - so did key Democrats. As for fake wars, how about Vietnam and the questions about the Gulf of Tonkin Incident? I believe LBJ - a Democrat - got us into it big time, and more than 50,000 Americans were killed.

- "When some reporters stood up for President Obama last Friday, they forgot about the needs of their colleagues in the back of the room as well as the less formal atmosphere of the briefing room."

- I've been a junior high school principal & scoutmaster, so I have heard the whole spectrum of BS excuses for misbehavior. Let's just look at this as a step in the right direction. Everyone, including the White House press corps, should stand when the President of the United States enters the room.

- They rose because they wanted to get a glimpse of him. Most of them cannot see him when he is on the podium because the teleprompters get in the way.
