Water boarding is a phsychological effort that leaves the person fully capable of committing every mental and physical skill or act that they were capable of before. It is not torture.

I'll give you even to better odds that YOU have NO IDEA what Water Boarding is like and are only following instructions from one of the Talking Head's on the Right? LOL I spent 6 years in the United States Marine Corps. During my tour in Vietnam an Army Solder was caught Water Boarding a Prisoner. That Solder WAS tried and convicted of Torture. At that time and from that time on, Command passed down a directive on the action and told EVERY NCO that what took place WAS a violation of the Geneva Convention and was TORTURE. My suggestion to you is stop believing the Propaganda thats put out and do a little educating of yourself.

So who would you propose to control the Press? You certainly are not willing to keep it free and open so who would you propose should determine what I see and hear? Right now I can get news and comments from just about every angle I want, all the way from the Right and Limbaugh to the Left and the Nation. So should we now have a Propaganda Minister? Someone who will go over the issues out there and insist that every reporter who writes a story on it submit it to that person for review? When I look at history, the things that our Free Press have dug up and revealed to WE the PEOPLE, I trust them FAR more than any Preacher I've EVER heard, PERIOD!! Fact: The U.S. classified waterboarding a crime many years ago and used it as a basis to prosacute in war crimes trials.
Also this kind of think makes many crimes that you are against really no beig deal. As I stated earlier by your thinking, rape is just having sex.

Waterboarding is listed by every civilized nation as torture. Then by using waterbording you are saying that these tortures are ok for our enemies to use on our own troops, or are you saying do as I say not as I do?

This says more about Religion and those who lean on it than anything I've heard in a long time. Torture isn't new to Religious Extremist that's for sure but this shows that, although most Religious Leaders say that is behind them, the chance of a return of Torture in Religion is a very real possibility.
