Gay marriage DOES NOT EFFECT the marriage of anyone else. It is merely a scare/hate tactic by the religious reich.

"Anybody that knows anything about statistics would tell you that 973 adults no more represent the nation's opinion than Miss America is an accurate representation of the entire female population!"

No, but it is 972 times better than the opinion of miss america.

If our world was dominated by "***," what a F-AB-U-LOUS place it would be. The world right now is dominated by "***," and is a complete mess. Maybe a change is in order.

If telling people they should have the same rights as everyone else is "hypocritical," then what is telling people they are second class citizens even though they must pay the same if not more taxes?

If not having the right to be discriminated against is "passing your morals," then those are much better morals to have than denying people their basic civil rights.

The same way you do in a straight marriage. It's always the other person's fault.

Civil marriage does not equate marriage. There are over 1,200 special privileges and protections afforded to married people that are systematically denied to gay people. Obama may or may not support marriage, but it is up to the states, not the President to make the law. Based on these promising polls, it looks like gay marriage will be sooner than later. Liberty and justice for ALL!
