After 5 months of arguing, if there's something that Coleman's lawyers have not considered, they're not very good. What we have now amounts to blatant footdragging. It's time that the Senate seat Franken and put this sideshow to bed.

Oh, RePugZ...let's go get justice, but not too fast, need time to make up another legal fish story.

Can you imagine the other side of this coin if it was a DumoKrap pulling this sh1--t?

Coleman wouldn't want a recount knowing he was the winner to begin with. Who are you kidding. I remember Coleman winning and they declared him the winner. That wannabe comedian Franken who is a joke wanted that win so bad he could taste it. Get a grip. I know how the dumbocrats operate.

Well if you know all that genius, than you must also know that the Democrats are going to pass their agenda through the reconciliation process (just as Bush and the Republicans did), and whether Coleman or Franken is in the senate, you losers lose.

If Coleman's legal team hasn't been able to prepare for a court hearing in the nearly six months since the election, it is an indicator of his lack of intelligence and the questionable calibre of the people he chooses to surround himself with. He is an accurate reflection of the neocon mentality, which seeks to thwart the will of the people in pursuit of power, influence, and profit.

Why are Democrats sooooooo angry?
Win, Win, Win, Win,.... got everything under their control.
Still, m u s t b a s h GOP 24/7.
They must think it is only a dream.
GOP patriots see it as a nightmare.
Lighten up, Dems; it is you day.
You get all the credit now and all the blame, as appropriate.
Get Over Winning; it is making you sour.

Norm is already talking about running for governor again. He lost once at that already, to Jessy Ventura. Then he was probably going to lose to Welstone when Welstone died. Now he has lost to Franken (a commedian). One would think he would realize Minnesota does not like him.
And no, he did not 'originally' win. He only 'won' before all the votes were in.

Things Republicans don't do well:

1) win
2) lose
3) govern
....the list goes on and on!

4) Tell the truth
5) Care for their fellow Americans
6) Deomonstate REAL family values - you have to walk the walk too...

Things they do well...
1) Lie (remember WBD's - how many Americans and others are dead now because of that one?)
2) Cheat to win
3) Whine when they lose

If he doesn't want the court to take up his case too quickly---How about not taking up the case at all.

It will be 2012 before this loser Coleman will admit defeat. I sure hope he doesn't run for office again.

Anyone that thinks Franken stole this election is either an effing idiot or a paid liar. The recount was required by minnesota law - not forced by the Franken campaign. The governor of the state is Republican and the counties are a mixed bag of Republican and Democrat areas. Obama won by a large margin in the state so it makes sense the Democrat would win a squeaker. Stop living in an alternate reality "mariannliarpepit"

Al Franken is extremely astute and informed on all the workings of our legislative process.I feel that Franken would contribute greatly in the US Senate.

Before you dismiss Al Franken as just "a Comedian" you should listen to what he's bringing to the table, you may find that you will learn something.

Or, you could continue to listen to a real comedian Rush Hudson Limbaugh or those other right wing pundits on FoxHole News that do a lot of talking and take absolutely no actions in getting involved in the Political Process.

Actually, and this is fact, the initial recount was mandated by law. Both candidates could have objected and the recount would have happened anyway.

Please stop lying.

It is outrageous that Coleman would be so obvious in his attempt to keep Minnesota from getting their second senator. This is what the Republicans are all about...stalling, smearing, doing anything to get their way, legal or not.

You are so wrong. Coleman won in the first place and Franken wanted a recount. Where is your memory? Is it as gone as Franken's? Franken wanted a recount because he thought he won instead of Coleman. The dumbo Minnesota judge who should be taken off the bench caused all this trouble for Coleman. Coleman lost a lot of those recount votes. Who are you kidding.

Doesn't anyone actually follow this stuff before making proclamations? Franken didn't demand a recount; a recount was mandated by state law. In the final count, Franken won. Coleman's been dragging his feet ever since.

Of course the dumbocrats in Minnesota would vote for that clown Franken because they don't have the brains to sit on or a window to throw them out of. All they know about him is he is a comedian. But he does a poor job at that. And if you think that Coleman shouldn't put up a fuss why did Franken do it when Coleman won in the first place. The Minnesota dumbocrats and recounters want Franken to win no matter that they threw Coleman's votes out the window. They hate to see a republican back in. That's too bad, I hope Coleman does come out winning.
