Again, why should heterosexuals care about marriage between gays? It certainly doesn't affect their own marriages, and nobody's forcing anyone to marry a gay. So what does it matter? Let everyone mind their own business. Let everyone have equal rights, and that includes civil marriages. If the church wants to refuse to recognize such marriages, fine. But the state should not perpetuate unequal status. I think that the people who most abhor gay marriage are probably worried about their own sexual identity.

Let the sexual deviants get married.... as long as they are confined to a mental institution.

I'll never understand why, in a Country as Proud as America, there is indecision about whether an immoral, perverse sexual lifestyle is good or not.

Like bigotry, segregation and sexism. those are pretty immoral and perverse. but the US constition does allow for people to be as stupid as they want to be. It its the "pursuit of happiness..." clause.

Why are we wasting money and time on such a rediculous issue. It is nobodys business what two consenting adults do in thier private life. Leave people alone and let them be happy.... If you holier than everyone else bible thumpers would just get over yoru bigotry and hatred then this world would be a much better place.....

Which beliefs ? I'm not familiar with these "beliefs" that you seem to attribute to the "homosexual community". Could you be more specific ? Beliefs in equal rights ? in our constitution ? in the quest for happiness ?

I was trying to be nice but since you insist. Take beliefe and replace it with immoral sexual lifestyles.

Becareful about calling 2/3 of America homophobes. Is'nt that the frist thing to fly out of the mouths of the homosexual community when people do not fall in line with thier beliefs.
