So she basically lied about the value of some charitable donations and busuness expenses. These are not unintentional arrors. This is called chaeting so you don't have to pay what you owe.

bam-bam, obama, can sure pick them badly. obama's administration is just as bad as the recent bush administration as far as personnel are concerned. like bush, obama seems to have his head in the sand on certain issues and individuals. there is, so far, no change excepting obama is black and a democrat.

Reminds me of a comment someone once made about Teddy Kennedy which is applicable to the entire democratic party - they're really generous with somebody else's money.

'Change' we can believe in meant that Obama's people pay their taxes with change while the rest of us pay in bills, and a lot of them. I think the next logical thing to do is investigate Obama and see if he paid all his taxes, expecially on the property donated to him by Rezko.

First question Obama should ask during an interview for a cabinet position: Did you pay your taxes?

agree mostly. They do not have to admit it, it is evident in thier actions. How much do you want to bet someone labels me a left winger for my post. I am niether I am a realist and I am clear headed enough to see the road that we are getting put on by BHO and Geithner will do nothing but put is onto national banruptcy. They can only print so much money before the dollar is so worthless that inflation will double. The Germans did what BHO doing now in the 1920's and 30's. Inflation was massive, people then had enough and the Nazi party was born need I say more. I guess we will have quite a legacy of massive debt to pass on to our grand children. Those of you that think that I am way off should really listen to the Non Partisan CBO and thier forecasted Deficit over the next ten years. I am chucking even more into savings and even putting extra money into a fireproff box in my home. People do not want to admit it but we are in for a sh%t storm.

Classic Socialist/Communist values, but don't expect a Liberal to admit it.

Democrats believe that taxes should be higher and that the rich should pay a larger share.

Translation:
Those rich Republican bastards should have their wealth confiscated and re-distributed to the indigent and humanistic groups especially progressive minded people. Naturally, good intentioned Democrats, are exempt from the harsh taxes. The remaining lower classes that adhere to conservative ideals should be harnessed to pay for the creative and deep-thinking Liberal Elite.

Classic Socialist/Communist values, but don't expect a Liberal to admit it.

Bush/Cheney: Invade another country for no reason, torture innocent civilians for no reason, look the other way as Wall Street fleeces Main Street: hey, no problem.

Sebelius: Underpay 1% of your taxes without knowing about it, and WE WILL THROW THE BOOK AT YOU!!!

America has been so COMPLETELY compromised by her fascists, its LAUGHABLE. Believe me, the REST of the world is LAUGHING, as they take away our mantle as world's greatest democracy.

Well I will be darned. The daughter of John J. Gilligan, Gov of Ohio who ran on a state income tax and got it passed, didn't pay all of her taxes?? How could that be?? Didn't she use turbo tax or H&R Block? Gosh no wonder the dems want to raise taxes, hardly any of them pay any. How about Charlie the RAngler who has yet to get his ethics investigated.

When will it stop?? Bet Turbo Tax Tim doesn't go after her.

I wish they would investigate Rangel. I have read where he is supposedly bieng investigated by the ethics committe. I watched on TV an independent journalist that was visiting Congress ask Rangel about the government subsidized house that he is living in in DC and the taxpayer funded Cadillac that he drives. Rangel ran for the elevator and as the door closed he told the reporter to mind his GD business. Take one look at the guy and he eminates sleaziness and corruption. The IRS needs to make an example of the politicians that "Mistakenly forget to pay thier taxes" and send a few to jail, thaTs what would happen to the average american if we did'nt pay ours.

Yep. Just goes to show that, now matter how hard you try, you can never pay ALL of your taxes.

Thats the point of our modern tax system. Get a position of political import, and we'll find out the way in which you didn't pay your taxes.

Check out ( YOUTUBE : Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius destroying small business } In D.C. she will be able to work her magic across the nation with the rest of her cronies. This man has collected sales tax for the state and paid his taxes as a Kansas small business for 34 years!!!!!! She will fit in well with the federalies in taking over and telling individuals how to run their businesses and their lives. Mine and yours will be next starting with government healthcare as a carrot dangled for the dumb masses.
Here come our saviours, Wake Up America!!!!!

Health and Human Services secretary, said in a letter obtained by the Associated Press that she made "unintentional errors" on her taxes and has corrected her returns from three different years.

Why is it when the average person makes a tax mistake they say ignorance of the law is no excuse? This Elitism is enough to make you puke.

These worthless crooked sob politicians of both parties could fund the stimulus package if they paid their just dues and taxes. Instead they live for decades on the taxpayer dole. Why does it even require that politician (usually crooked) be appointed to these positions? It is outrageous that these are the types of people charged with running our nation but it doesn't surprise me.

Give them a pass....??!! They are in the "public eye"....how could they not understand the importance of not letting the public see them do something unethical or illegal. It's arrogance......that's their problem....they think that RULES are for the rest of us...........

Does anybody in this "change" administration actually pay their taxes?
Posted by cpelzar--2008

It appears most pay taxes, just less than they should. Will we be so forgiving when a republican who doesn't pay all of his taxes is appointed to a cabinet post?

Three different tax returns and they were unintentional errors? Please, please, if there are any Dems out there asked by the Obama administration to serve, please decline if you are unable to pay your taxes properly. The average American, without a degree, can pay their taxes accurately, for goodness sake!

Our Government is a BIG JOKE - someone we should absolutely look up to. It's no wonder they can't run the country when they cannot even run their own lives. A disgrace - and much much more.
