- See I have said it for years, and now it bites us in the you know what.
We need to get some sort of law that lets the president say No! I can?t in good conscience sign this bill. This way he can let the congress know that he means business.
Until then he will not be able to get this country on its feet again. Until no means no, we as a country and for this guys presidency, we will continue to be raped.
Now what kind of Law could We as a country could Make? - Reply to this comment

I have it on good authority, stright from the mount of president Urkel, that people earning < $250k/yr won't see their taxes go up.
Ohhhhh....he meant PAYROLL taxes......he didn't say anything about Cap & Trade, Healthcare tax, savings tax, tax, tax...........
By the time he and that Costco scarf mannequin Pelosi get through bankrupting America, it all won't matter. - Reply to this comment
- This is all getting to be just too much.....the bedwetting libs would absolutely lather themselves when Bush did this SAME THING!!!!!! But since president Urkel is a bona fide socialist, all the libs turn their heads.

- Thats the problem. I may be wrong but past Presidents actually let reporters attending press confrences/briefings to ask questions. I have yet to see the new guy do this. He spews out the info then does the wierd half hand wave half salute and walks off. I guess we should'nt expect him to answer our questions.

- Face it...the Obama Administration is in way over its head.
It has been a frighteningly chaotic mess since day one.
This is an Administration of political zealots in love with government rather than appreciation of of our country.
Thank you national media for letting Obama skate through the election without a single day of critical observation.
Now,we and the world suffer at the hands of zealots, lobbyists and special interests.
And where is the President? Hiding behind photo ops and teleprompters. - Reply to this comment
- Somebody needs to take this signing statement issue to the supreme court. I believe that the president has only three options when a bill is sent to him. 1. He signs it and it becomes law. 2. He vetos it and sends it back to congress. Or 3. He does nothing and after a certain amount of time it becomes law. I don't think there is anything that allows him to pick and choose what parts of a bill he follows. It is either all or nothing. I thought it was supreme arobance when Bush did it and it is no different now. President does not translate to Monarch or Dictator.

- FYI It's being reported that the 30 BILLION going to Israel every August in the form of Military aid will not be changed by Obama. So we're going to give this away to a Country that refused to send troops into Iraq with us. Our Government is being run by Israeli's.

I don't think they refused to send troops into Iraq. I think that we did not want them there due to the anomisity of the Arabs towards them and vice versa. Of course it does seem silly to continue to send them money when they continue to illegally settle occupied lands on the west bank. - Reply to this comment

- I can't help but think of Obama as a windup doll, he says the same words every time he talks. It is like a bad recording - "transparency, recovery.gov, responsible..." He has lost ALL credibility with me, he really should listen to himself speak.

- Well folks, according to an article in today's Washington Post, a group of democratic congressmen are proposing that employer sponsored health benefits be taxed as income. The article said that a worker;'s family benefits average $9,000 per year. The money would be used to help fund universa; health care. Don't take my word, read the article. So, we get a $13 per week tax break and then pay taxes on $9,000 additional income per year. Sounds like more funny math.
